With those nine guys in the lineup, how would you line them up? Seems like the only other option is Vargas at 3B, Colson at SS, Chase at 2B, and Sosa at 1B. I find it hard to believe he couldn’t have packaged Tauchmann and civale for something but maybe he thinks it’s better to try and play 400 baseball from here on out and get used to winning a bit. The most important thing for the Sox is getting the best odds at the top pick, they’re not competing this year or next (even if they add).
