I'll be honest....I knew it was going to be a rough season, but I didn't see a 2-14 start, with 4 losses to KC, being on the docket.

It was hard to underperform this teams offensive expectations,  but here we are.

agreed. it’s a terrible situation. apathetic to antagonistic fanbase, awful product and replacing a guy who was respected and let go for bad reasons. I’ll cut him some slack. he’s just a young guy try

“But he has no position!!!”….yet one of the smartest front offices found a role for him

Lot of people here were not interested in him.

The 1960 Mets were shutout 30  times. The 1908 Cardinals were shutout 36 times, in the 154 game season.

The White Sox are on pace to get shutout 60 times.

Can we go back in time and trade Vaughn and a pitcher to the Dodgers for Michael Busch?

Bold of you to assume he would have a similar performance here.

The warning signs were there with the injury to the 2-3-4 guys looming.  But yeah, this is ridiculous.

Mainly because he was a DH and 1st baseman and the Sox have team full of them

They tried to trade for Busch twice.  They wanted him badly.

You have to fire Grifol. You just can’t keep doing this.

"But he won't be on the next Sox Championship team!!!!" LOL. I'm happy with two big upside pitchers and a raking CF prospect.

Even the guys who are here are historically bad. Like we knew they wouldn't be good, but guy are ducking way under even their own shitty career numbers which isn't easy to do for a lot of these guys.

Well, he cooled off. Small sample size. Busch will, too.

No, Luis Robert is literally at home raking his yard.  There can be no other logical explanation.

Don't stop now boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?

Vaughn has to sit. We need the networks to cover the shutouts and change will come. Eloy and Moan are not the answers.

only thing left to root for is maximum embarrassment for jr. of course, he has no shame so there’s nothing to root for at all.

Did you mean competent 1st baseman or dh? We have none of those.
