I’m not a grandpa yet. Aren’t you in your 60’s? Elko was already hitting well in the minors in 2023 while Hahn was still in charge.

Getz personally imbued Tim Elko with his advancement in the organization, then kept the entire group that drafted him. May 10, 2025May 10 Glad Elko got the call, he's earned it. I'll be rooting for the guy, but I have low expectations. 30% K rates in the minor leagues do not translate well to the big leagues, especially for a DH type. I suspect most of the those clamoring for him the past month will be complaining about his inability to make contact in no time.
