Julks is arguably the one who has hit the best and most consistently, but the White Sox seem to have given up on all three of these guys, along with Elko, Colas, etc. Alex.Canario has a 641 OPS for the Pirates...watching him at age 24 would be a lot more fun than Palacios, who seems to be Venable's new favorite player with Maton off the roster. TLR has been to some farm games. That's the only thing I can think of when everything seems like WTF.

kitekrazy
I just see anything positive happening as long as the Sox have the same owner. These handful of prospects just aren't going to help that much since it is only a handful. They will never supplement then with decent free agents. Sure they'll get FA that will be busts. JR is a curse to this organization and you really can't get past that. If there was a baseball hell this would be it. Unfortunately there are a few more teams not much different. They are a curse to baseball. Players and potential execs have this figured out.

Rather see them that they might be part of the future and let them learn on the job then Rojas and Palacios I would rather see Baldwin get reps with a first basemen glove than Teel. Teel might win the starting catcher gig based on his defense and the fact that he hits home runs - a critical element of the offense that the Sox need if they ever want to be competitive. Of the 4 professional sports in America, MLB is in the worst shape, it’s the have’s vs the have nots plus owners who are willing to spend and those who won’t, how can teams compete with the Dodgers and Yankees who have payrolls of over 320 million dollars. MLB definitely needs a salary cap otherwise we might see some franchises dissolved. Edited June 3 by The Mighty Mite

Salary cap wouldn’t matter, some teams would work around that like a deferred Ohtani deal and others simply will never spend to the cap. it’s the owners want. You can’t force them to do the right thing. They threw revenue sharing at teams as a way to level the playing field for the smaller teams and the owners just took that money. Look at Pittsburgh now, already talking about dealing Skenes because their owner won’t spend, yet that dude cashes a revenue sharing check every fucking year

At some point in time we will see the Dodgers and Yankees in ten straight World Series and nobody but those two fan bases will give a sh%%#&*it. How many World Series have the Yankees Mets and Dodgers won since 2000? The same number as the Marlins White Sox and Royals. Three to three. The Giants Astros Red Sox and Cards have done better.
