This is kind of dumb because Song only $13 million 3 years total and replacing Jose Iglesias...would probably play 2nd or 1st.

He could also DH but they are right on the CBT luxury tax first boundary level already.

Athletics and Phillies out of nowhere lol with Harper/Schwarber already.  They would really put him at third and dump Alec Bohm?

A's have Kurtz RoY.

Moccbomb is literally a troll account.

How can MSN pick him up as a high credibility source?

It wasn't even linked the story...I had to track down the attributed tweet.

When I tried to copy and paste it was blocked by a warning from a South American company lol.

You would think all the sports media companies would have master lists of credible sources above and beyond blue check marks...

One thing I find gob-smacking is that, not only have real trade rumors dried up, but the BS posters seem to have dried up, too. Like, whitesoxdave, and bartolo's colonoscopy and that whole crew aren't even feeding BS trades into the ether. Gimme the Sunday Boston Globe Peter Gammons' column.

Or Phil Rogers' musings even lol.

But he's in Texas now.

Bruce Levine convinced him hahaha.  Local media source non verification but just spitballing.

"He also cited ESPN’s projected affordable price of five years, $80 million, as why the South Siders could EASILY afford him."

So Schoenfield to Duquette to Levine to Feinsand/"Michigan" Merkin.

I wonder in what time zone this negotiations are really taking place. They have until 7 am Tuesday in Japan, which is 4pm Monday in Chicago. 1 pm Sunday in Japan right now on Sunday. I imagine they have to be getting close to “put your final offers in now” so Murakami has a chance to weigh them. Or do we think this is all being done by US based agents in a U.S. time zone?
