The White Sox were successful in limiting Yordan Alvarez (1 for 7) in the Houston series. Likewise PCA went 0-7 against the Padres. Sox have to limit damage from Rocchio in the Cleveland series. I am sure the Sox pitching staff is focusing in on that player in particular.

If he was better in LF maybe you consider it, but Grichuk gives us a boost there in a pretty large LF in Clev.

So if we didn't use him until G3 or G4 in the ALDS, would he do a sim game/sidework friday or saturday? 9-10 days off feels like an eternity.

2 hours ago2 hr Regardless of the season results, Hudson and Newcomb definitely are behind Hagen and maybe even Schultz at this point...but all four will get their opportunities.Brazoban is equally suspect.And they still have to figure out the roles of Martin Fedde Kay for a longer series.Not sure how Davis Martin would do if suddenly thrust into a relief role.
