TUCSON, Ariz. - The White Sox signed pitcher Tomo Ohka and added him to the spring training roster.

Ohka, 31, has a 50-63 record over parts of nine major league seasons. He was 2-5 with a 5.79 ERA in 10 starts for Toronto last season. He won 13 games for Montreal in 2002

How fitting that he'll pitch for Charlotte.

Ohka pitched a nine-inning perfect game for the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox on June 1, 2000. Ohka retired all 27 batters he faced in a 2-0 win over the Charlotte Knights, and threw only 76 pitches to toss the first nine-inning perfect game in the International League since 1952.

If he starts for the Sox at all this year, except possibly in September if the division has already been decided, you know we'll be having problems.

I hope not and I doubt it.

Williams and Ozzie look like they want to go with young pitchers and if their not young then their supposed to be "high-caliber" pitchers.

Colon when healthy is a pretty good pitcher before anyone snaps back.
