Guys get pissed at LaRoche. He's suppose to be the clean up f***ing hitter FFS! He just Ks on 3-4 pitches now and doesn't f***ing walk.

Avi is what he is... still developing but won't amount to much without him hitting for power.

Avi is 24 and still developing. He's going to have ups and downs. Avi is a 1B/DH IMO. It's what his body type is.

LaRoche is a bum. He's finished. Get him out.

Melky!

With the way Saladino, Ramirez and Sanchez are now playing, if the Sox could just improve in RF and DH they'd ave a pretty decent team. Oh yeah and a Catcher who could catch would help too.

Avi is ok. DH and Catcher is the main thing. Bring up Micah to DH and work with Sanchez on defense every day, and have Soto start every game except when Sale starts. Done and done

People keep saying this, but it's really not true. He's 158th out of 160 qualified hitters in terms of WAR this year.

Oh we've accepted it. We just dont know why he keeps getting resigned and starting.

They obviously value his catching ability. Hawk, who is basically our fly on the wall, has mentioned several times how Flowers has excelled at handling our starters, which is his "primary responsibility." We just need to accept that and deal with his offensive inadequacies.

It isn't something that is going to change until a much better option becomes apparent.

He isn't the biggest problem, sorry to let you know that. He is fine for now and we really don't' have a better option. He can split starts with Shuck if that makes you happy

Serious question. Knowing what you know now and with how LaRoche is playing -- would you rather have had Dunn on a one year deal, or this LaRoche on a two year deal?

Dunn on a one year deal because the suffering would end after this season. We have another season of this s***.

Would of been about the same really. Danks and LaDunn contracts on the books next year are awful use of money.

That's fine but statistically he's one of the worst catchers in baseball in terms of WAR. We have a catcher behind him who is actually middle of the pack. I think that would qualify as much better option.
