funny how small market habitual losing teams sign to flip and waiting for their competitive (just around mediocre) moment to arrive. It's just a rinse and repeat. We are so conditioned to that. We would make perfect Marlin fans. Maybe some of you are young enough real winning will happen in your lifetime. The sign to flip takes less than 10 posts to show up. Quality pieces as we think. But what exactly are those? How many of those exist on the farm as of now?

Feels like the Pats just had the least deserving path to the Super Bowl of all time (both regular and post season). Hope they get destroyed by the Seahawks.

Well at least we didn't end up in another 80s Super Bowl blowout which is what would have happened if we pulled it out. It was a great run and I am proud of Denver's season. Nix would have easily won this game with how our defense shut NE down.

I get your point but this is a professional media organization. What an individual owner does or does not do has no bearing on the preparation and job they are supposed to be doing.

I don't disagree with that. But they need to stop saying it's a "taxpayer-funded stadium". The stadium itself is being privately financed. The Bears are putting a lot more private money toward the stadium than other teams like the Titans, Chiefs, and Commanders are. Sure, there's still a ton of public money going into infrastructure and there's a legitimate argument as to whether that's a good use of tax payer money and they'll have to answer to the voters whatever decision they make. But when politicians go around to the media saying they're not going to give the Bears a "taxpayer-funded stadium", it seems to me that some elected officials are trying to turn public opinion against it.

That would be annoying.
