Better yet Harrelson and Paciorek/Wimpy together. Just checked, Tom's around 80 years old and Harrelson 85 now. Time flies. Even Ozzie is 62.- The Official Scoreboard watching thread
Yoshinobu Yamamoto as Mr. Robot 2. He's like the Terminator. Guy is just nails in the postseason. Even at 95 with the fb instead of 97. Incredible discipline and work ethic.- 2027 Rotation
Doubt they give Soroka much bigger numbers when they had him on a so called bargain contract the first time around... Hasn't Flaherty's fastball been steadily eroding over the last 2-3 years? That feels like another Castillo deal in the making with the heavy workload he's carried throughout his career. King will have the interest of at least 10-12 teams as the clear #2 FA and Gray is coming off a second peak year in the second half of his career...so you're definitely buying high there. Not easy to decide. Peralta has been THE big name on the ascent since his trade to TB...- 2027 Rotation

Hope this series goes the distance, it's been a good watch. Wish both MIL/SD could make the LCS instead of LAD/ATL.- The Official Scoreboard watching thread
King had nothing towards the end (this is supposed to be his bullpen day and he was at 35+ pitches). Yelich absolutely scorched that ball right at Bogaerts. Padres are lucky there will be a game 4 tomorrow. Without Morejon or Miller, they're gonna have a hard time working out their bullpen situation.- The Official Scoreboard watching thread
Couldn't have three more closely played games...now who starts G4 for SD? King just threw out 40 pitches out of the pen and would have been on just three day's rest anyway. Buehler? Ray?- Big name throwing out first pitch tomorrow
There's only one answer - Hawk Harrelson MERCYYYY!- Fall/Winter Ball 2026
Bones with the GWRBI, Altermatt with the 1 out save- ALDS Game 2: White Sox at Guardians. Monday, 4:00 PM CT
I had to switch my dog to the inflatable donut instead of the cone because he hated the cone so much- Big name throwing out first pitch tomorrow
What about MJ himself…- Grateful for this fan page
I just really enjoy the in-depth baseball talk with very knowledgeable fans. I actually think that many of you guys are too hard on the team. They’re a young team with a young manager, lat least experience wise , and they have performed much better than anyone expected. I think they can be a consistent playoff team because the division they’re in is quite weak and I think they can dominate.- ALDS Game 3: Guardians at White Sox. Wednesday, 3:00 PM
Now this is hilarious….finish the job boys- Big name throwing out first pitch tomorrow
I would prefer no politicians. MB or PK makes most sense. Or Caleb. Fisk hasn't really been in the picture for a while now. At this point, he is off the Sox radar. Last time I was at a game where MJ threw out the first pitch, the entire sports world came crashing down as his retirement was leaked. (1993 ALCS).- This Day In Sox History 10/7...
Two factoids today: October 7, 2001 - Sox All-Star outfielder Magglio Ordonez became the first player in American League history to have a season with a .300 average, 40 doubles, 30 home runs, 100 RBI’s and 25 stolen bases. His hit against the Twins in the fourth inning went for his 40th double and the record. October 7, 2005 - At Fenway Park the White Sox won their first post season series of any kind since 1917 by beating Boston 5-3 to sweep the A.L.D.S. in three games. Paul Konerko’s two run home run gave the Sox some breathing room and then pitcher Orlando Hernandez saved it. Entering into a bases loaded, no out, one run lead situation in the sixth inning of game #3, “El Duque” got two pop outs and a strike out. It was an amazing performance in a pressure packed situation.- Big name throwing out first pitch tomorrow
So is all the helicopter activity above Chicago today for Obama’s appearance tomorrow?- ALDS Game 3: Guardians at White Sox. Wednesday, 3:00 PM

Tomorrow is going to be electric….cant wait!!! Dont take your foot off their throats, go for the kill shot and end the series!!!!!LFG!!!!!!- Caleb Bonemer heading to the AFL
This is why you need a whole lot of pieces and building blocks; also why not to ship them off for veterans, rents, 1 year wonders. Peters' may not hit as well next year as this year, but as long as his D continues, we're good.- The Official Scoreboard watching thread
Did Pat Murphy just say "God damnit Merrill!" on live mic as he robbed another xb hit???
