  1. Past hour
  2. If we pinned this at the top of every thread it might save pages and pages of repetitive bickering
  3. Today
  4. Spending did not work out well for the White Sox.
  5. All true but it would be nice to sign a few higher end players with the intent of keeping them. The third largest market, only the 2 teams that played in minor league stadiums last year had a lower payroll. Every team should look for a diamond in the rough, but the constant churning of mediocre talent for different mediocre talent is not a winning strategy.
  6. Darnold had a great season in Minny, one bad playoff game should not be the reason you move away from him. He's gonna hold up the Lombardi trophy in two weeks...lol at Minnesota
  7. Drake Maye's TD today and huge run to ice the game, BJ take note please, so many 3rd and 4th and short failed opportunities...for f*** sake take advantage of Caleb's running ability to get easy first downs and TDs, he can even get bigger plays play actioning off of those plays. I will kill myself if I don't see Caleb running more often next season in those situations lol
  8. To be fair, they didn't know that Darnold was gonna do that last year when they drafted McCarthy.
  9. I don't think the Bears would have beaten Seattle for the NFC title but they definitely had a chance at beating either New England or Denver (especially with Nix out). Seattle will demolish the frauds from NE though.
  10. I mean, I get the timeline…but it’s still shocking that a 27 year old Sam Darnold led the Vikings to a 14-3 record in 2024 (4300 yards, 35/12 TD/INT) and Minnesota said “Nah, we’re good, let’s use a Top 10 pick on JJ McCarthy”
  11. Are those rhetorical questions at the end ? Those are impossible question to answer. That's why there are multiple ways to acquire new young players every year and why there are multiple levels of the minor leagues and lots and lots of coaches, scouts, development people, Analytics people to try to enhance and develop their skills. Is every team supposed to stop trying to find bargains ? Again it sucks not to just have to wave money around to snap up the best and the brightest but even those deemed the best and brightest among the top prospects fail over and over. The object is always to teach and develop for every team. Bargains become superstars . International players signed for way below the top players do succeed too.
  12. This quote is great. Love Passan.
  13. I mean there were more snubs this past season. Hardly old. Its been a weird routine from them that has gone on for decades now.
  14. Seattle should comfortably beat New England
  15. rams had all the chances to win this game, stupid penalties and mistakes blew it
  16. would be such a threat if Stafford could actually run for short yards, dude is a statue lol
  17. Complaining about 2005 snubs is getting old and kinda cringe we just need to win again. Its been forever.
  18. why" You're not the one who sucks
  19. funny how small market habitual losing teams sign to flip and waiting for their competitive (just around mediocre) moment to arrive. It's just a rinse and repeat. We are so conditioned to that. We would make perfect Marlin fans. Maybe some of you are young enough real winning will happen in your lifetime. The sign to flip takes less than 10 posts to show up. Quality pieces as we think. But what exactly are those? How many of those exist on the farm as of now?
  20. is this guy's nickname "Serendipity?" Should it be?
  21. This feels like a completely different sport than the AFC game.
  22. not unless the mid relief guys put it out of hand
