  1. Past hour
  2. I think I speak for all Chicago Fans when I say De Troit Sucks! De Troit Sucks! De Troit Sucks! De Troit Sucks! De Troit Sucks! De Troit Sucks!
  3. Good job. We're all going to have to step on each other's jokes a lot for the next month while Caulfield is on his self-imposed hiatus. Maybe @Bob Sacamano will want to help out by referencing a list of 80's era Cub players who have absolutely nothing to do with the convo. Do you even know who's going to be the 2033 Game 3 World Series starter for the Sox? Is he even in the system? Ohtani also made an impact on the mound for LA, making his return to pitching in June after an almost two-year layoff, following two procedures, including one to repair the right ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow and his left shoulder last offseason. In 14 starts, he went 1-1 with a 2.87 ERA and had 62 strikeouts. The second-straight MVP award comes after posting a historic season last year in which he became the first player in MLB history to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a single campaign. cnn.com
  4. Merry Christmas 2 all. And to all a good night !
  5. Today
  6. Lions just ran out of juice and couldn’t get it back. Last month or so they just haven’t looked in sync
  7. Except one is worth 7.7 bWAR and the other is worth -0.6. Cannon is not deserving of being in the majors.
  8. If they won the Super Bowl, something tells me they're still having the parade in Chicago.
  9. Ohtani and Jonathan Cannon are both pro baseball pitchers. There, now you have two.
  10. Beat me to it. Literally was going to make this exact post before I even saw yours. 🤣
  11. Merry Christmas everyone!!! Hopefully we have more to cheer for next year and also a year closer to hopefully a real owner!!!
  12. But we did get those 31 innings and a 5.52 ERA out of Cam Booser in a 102 loss season... 🤦🏻‍♂️
  13. Jeez. He was #25 with the Red Sox. Either shows how good the Red Sox farm system is or how bad the Cardinals’ is, or both.
  14. And the A’s beat the Sox largest contract by $11 million at the minimum.
  15. Even on Christmas, it's the gift that keeps on not giving.
  16. The next Big Red Machine, speaking of the Reds. Under construction. Getz is now a genius, life comes at you fast.
  17. Yesterday
  18. Yep. It was a slip of the tongue but it’s obvious that Getz thinks he’s a potential superstar. But like you said, if he suffered a catastrophic injury between now and the draft, they would obviously consider other players.
  19. I am delighted to have a player mentioned in the same breath as Ohtani.😄
  20. Really? You think they would make a decision now and then not change no matter what happens between now and the draft? Roch is the obvious pick right now. They would 100% pick him if the draft happened tomorrow. But they will obviously see how everything plays out.
  21. Things change during the season. Idk why they'd have a decision before the 2026 season has even been played. Sometimes players emerge and move up, and others have a bad season. I'd hope they do their due diligence and pick Cholowsky only if he's deserving. But this is the White Sox we're talking about.
  22. According to MLB Trade Rumors Sox do have the smallest largest.
  23. There were also plenty of people that (wrongfully) thought Ohtani was going to be bad since he didn't focus on hitting or pitching. It was unrealistic to expect him to play like an inner circle Hall of Famer, but there were doubters aplenty.
  24. Merry Christmas everyone! Actually looking forward to watching the Sox next year, great Christmas gift.
