  1. Past hour
  2. You should really look into what that overused metaphor means. I really just gape in wonder at a bunch of men who become so hurt when somebody doesn't agree with their simplistic, negative takes on every single incident in White sox world.
  3. Bored?!? Every time I read somebody posting, "rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic" after any piece of Sox news, it's like rediscovering As I Lay Dying anew. How can anybody get bored with all of this creativity flying around? LOL.
  4. Seems like a late bloomer that has a ton of room to grow. His arm length and variety of moves listed as big pluses https://www.nfl.com/prospects/austin-booker/3200424f-4f00-5373-700b-a9f16bc56e46
  5. it was also Flexen! šŸ˜„ I've already posited an adjustment to FIP called "pitched against White Sox" (PWSx) so that fans don't get the wrong idea that the likes of Andrew Abbott and Simeon Woods-Richardson are Cy Young contenders. But now how about a "pitched while Dominic Fletcher played center field behind you while gross, man and that other guy wiped up the corners" (PWDFPCFBYWGMATOGWUTCx).
  6. Classic troll. Debate genius takes the stage and proves that the sun rises in the west before moving on to the next forum. šŸ™„ He will get bored of us soon enough
  7. I was calling for Austin Booker for a while here. I love this pick.
  8. We donā€™t know anything for sureā€¦.but Fletcher needing more AAA seasoning is a very bad sign. And his tweener status is pretty much confirmed by watching the games as he canā€™t play a good CF and doesnā€™t have the tools to be a quality offensive RF. I really hope he proves me wrong, but so far everything the kidā€™s done has reaffirmed my belief that heā€™s nothing more than a 4th OF type talent. Beyond that, the bigger concern is what a theoretical miss on Fletcher (and potentially DeLoach) means for faith in our pro scouting function. We traded controllable pieces for older OF prospects who already had experience in AAA and yet both dudes require more seasoning despite the massive holes we have in the OF at the moment. I viewed the Gene Watson move as a negative when it first happened and watching Rafael Ortega get opportunities over these two kids doesnā€™t install much confidence.
  9. The Mayor of Chicago has said that the proposed Bears stadium is a public benefit. I hope he feels the same way about the proposed White Sox stadium.

  11. Yep but to actually go out and sign a top difference maker? Nope...can't do that, it offends JR's sensibilities.
  12. Today
  13. Nobody spends more money on junk plastic deck chairs for the ole rusty half floating pontoon boat than the Sox.
  14. Poles must have hated the EDGE and DI guys left.
  15. I only caught the first 6 innings last night before I left to go watch the Twolves smack around the Suns with buddies, but I enjoyed Apple TV broadcast. They have cool camera angles and outside of the on field reporter, the announcers were solid and seemed to have decent knowledge of the 3-22 white sox. Honestly, better than listening to Schriffen try to get us excited over a fly out that doesnā€™t make it to the warning track.
  16. Yes I did. Ben Mendelsohn is a great actor! I'm not a fashion guy but it was interesting from a historical perspective of French collaboration/resistance during WW II and the origination of companies we recognize today (Dior, Chanel, Burciaga). Coco Chanel was a interesting- collaborator, possible secret agent and was eventually able to resurrect her brand. Christian Dior's sister was a member of the French Resistance and sent to a concentration camp. Overall, worth a watch for me.
  17. Its gonna be a beautiful night for baseball
  18. For the record, now of the independent Amercan Association Kansas City Monarchs.
  19. Dude doesnā€™t even know that itā€™s doob not ā€œdube.ā€ Heā€™s absolutely some boomer that yells at kids to get off his front lawn right?
  20. I don't, unfortunately. AH was dead the second Warren stepped into Halas Hall. He wants nothing to do with moving the team out of the city.
  21. If they just stop getting swept, they could still win 50.
  22. And we all were. I, for one, thought he was taller.
  23. Itā€™s possible but I canā€™t use that excuse for the rest of them
  24. Are you sure you werenā€™t just watching Andrew Vaughn running in real time?
