Idiots. Everyone knows you just have to get your translator to make the bets for you.3 points

You've now really gone over the deep end haven't you? 🤡2 points

Hopefully we stop trading really young players for older players really damned soon. There is plenty of trash floating in the ocean to fill the roster with, we don't need to trade our youngest players to do it.2 points

I want to see Caleb and Bears just earn it by continuing to improve and getting themselves to the point that they have earned the respect - period.1 point

It’s genuinely a really easy comparison to make. Two of the longest tenured managers in baseball history with a roughly equal winning percentage. Multi- time managers of the year, World Series winners. Both came out of retirement to manage again (though Tito’s retirement was considerably shorter). Terry will have to win one more WS and manager of the year to catch La Russa though. I’m unsure what point you’re trying to make.1 point

I find it weird that fans would be so upset about Aikman disliking and nitpicking Williams, as that is what many fans have done and are still doing.1 point

One was at the top of his game in the 2020's. The other was at the bottom of his bottle. Totally the same. Let's bring back Connie Mack!1 point

He doesn't need to like him, but there was an audible difference in treatment betweenthe QBs. You can get away with that as a local guy, but not a national one.1 point

That Chavez thread I’m referring to was started because we didn’t think Crede would be healthy, lol1 point

Feel free to post a link and let us see it again. And also, you are NOT really Floyd Bannister are you? The 1983 Sox are my favorite team ever, even without the Ship. A couple flukey bounces in Game 2 who knows and I have to admit Boddicker was dominating our hitters. Floyd Bannister (as all those cats in that 83 rotation) was an awesome pitcher.1 point

Ironic how close these two posts were to each other.1 point

Weird. I never mentioned helping the bullpen the last two years. I thought it was fairly obvious by my previous post about the current state of the rotation and bullpen that I was talking about going forward. No one was saving Getz’s 101-223 White Sox over the last two seasons. These two failed trades that Getz signed off on definitely didn’t help things either.1 point

I dont think you're misreading things at all. There's no JR money involved in this and no JR jurisdiction.1 point

No fan of the Cubs but I look forward to the day when cheering for a Cub loss is not the best thing a Sox fan can hope for.1 point

In case you're wondering if Pope Leo has still been keeping up with the Sox...1 point

See, I don't think anything John does is genuine, and that is probably why it bothers me. Both Hawk and Jason were genuine guys in their style. John is just loud to be loud, even when the situation doesn't call for it. Each sport has it's own pace and tempo, and baseball is very rarely a game that should see PBP delivered at a 10. To me it sounds like a guy who doesn't understand the game. I find the most cookie cutter thing about him, is that he really doesn't have anything new or interesting to say, only what he is being fed to say. For as bad as Hawk got by the end, he always had his very own unique style and path. Schiff is just the dude in the crowd who cheers loudly to be noticed, but doesn't actually offer anything of his own.1 point

True, but don’t forget — Getz traded these two young pitchers for them. Christian Mena Luis Rodriguez0 points
