Onto the new site - have some clean up we will need to do and there is still some back end sluggishness and continued connection issues stemming from the server issue from last week that served company is still working on. Hopefully this gets us one step closer though and please share any glitches / issues you run into - as we certainly expect there will be some.

He's the one who let Kenny float in space after refusing to let him leave for a huge promotion. He's the one who refused Machado and/or Harper. He's the one who preferred a marionette to a GM search. He's the one not able to read the room on a new stadium. He's the one making seem like a huge accomplishment to add a 40 million dollar contract this winter. He's the reason even if Chris Getz is a boy genius as claimed, Jerry will find another way to cock block and destroy, just like all of the other GMs and AGms he has fucked in 40 years. He's the reason for Hawk Harrelson as a GM. He's the reason for Dan Evans, Schumer, Himes, and Hemond. I could keep going, but everyone knows who the problem is.

The Cubs most likely will be number one for the foreseeable future but when Ishbia takes over and spends some money the fan base should grow.

He had know he'd be a lame duck GM with the bare minimum for the players but also knew he have plenty to spend on infrastucture since those things are a pittance yearly compared to even one contract like Benitendi's annual salary. They cant just cut him and eat the salary. Even if they can save $5M on his salary they'll keep him and play him to extract that savings. Thats just the way it is now.

The Sox were fine right before COVID, then starting with TLR, ownership made every possible mistake after that, (including their stadium embarrassment) at least until talking Ishbia into coming back.
