https://www.mlb.com/prospects/stats/affiliates?teamId=145&date=03/28/2026 https://www.mlb.com/milb/scores/all/all/whitesox?affiliateId=mlbcom-milb Sorry I missed yesterday. McDougal on the hill today facing off with Rays #3 prospect
  2. His best skill is somehow convincing Jerry and a portion of Sox fans that he didn’t contribute to this debacle the last 5 years
  3. Absolutely awful start to the season. This is Grifol-esque.
  4. Absolute terrible decision. We don’t need one run. We need base runners. You had Mune coming up next with 2 on. Holy hell, that’s simple baseball.
  5. The little league style managing is so embarrassing for a professional organization. The always changing lineup Players playing different positions every other game. Keep Montgomery at SS. Keep Acuna in CF. Keep Hays in the lineup. Having two decent hitters that can’t field a lick (Bennitendi and Sosa) is on Getz. One should have been moved so the other can DH. The Reece signing looks terrible. He’s been bad today. Catching also. Peters starting in game two….???? WTF!!!!!!!!!
  6. He got pretty banged up back there behind the plate on Thursday so maybe that's why they're giving him an extra day of rest.
  7. You big dummy
  8. Ok i change my bet. I hate @WhiteSox2023 and @caulfield12 wayyyy more than Lip.
  9. He has probably watched Jerry’s s%*# show longer than both of us. I know he has watched more than me. He is obviously a fan of the White Sox as he posts a daily historical facts about them. But Jerry is the equivalent of The Grinch on Christmas and can ruin anything, including the White Sox and Bulls.

It’s great that Getz bought some Trakt machines and improved the infrastructure, but he still can’t identify offensive player talent or build a team for s%*#. Pereira? Dude swings like the freaking Tasmanian Devil. Fire Getz.
  11. He’s better at speaking to the media. Other than that, he makes the same questionable decisions and his lineups suck just as bad as Grifol’s did.
  12. He’s a jack off
  13. $1.2 million. Extra bonus $200K for the Master Baiter. Ironically, wasn’t Korey Lee known for his strong throwing arm? Perhaps the Brewers wouldn’t have 6 SB right now if he was the backup catcher.
  14. @bobbydanks gets hammered late at night and adds posts to them.
  15. Mune has looked the part at 1B
  16. Meidroth just raking to start the season. At least that's a bright spot to hold on to. I'd have Mune hit 2nd behind him so we can start having more opportunities of homeruns with men on, rather than just solo shots. We need to hit them with men on base.
  17. Mune gonna hit 45 hr with 53 rbis.
  18. Don't worry. Jerry still loves what he is doing. Piece of s%*#.
  19. This team doesn't even play fundamental baseball. This has been the case for several seasons. The payroll can't be blamed. The player moves can't be excused. This organization is criminally bad.
  20. they do everything wrong. that's coaching.
  21. Hard for me to be too mad at Burke so far TBH. But he'll have to bear down to get out of this
  22. Put Antonocci out there. He at least doesn't seem baseball stupid and for sure isn't lazy.
  23. Why the f*** are you challenging that
  24. Robert Jr walkoff homer. Getz is a joke
  25. Not even the basics. Catch the fly ball. Hit the cut off man. Ugh.
  26. Root for Jerry's boys? WTAF? I root for the name of the front of the jersey, and not any owner, management, or anything else. I am Chicago White Sox fan, not Jerry Reinsdorf. I also love how you slander Ishbia, who actually lives here as knowing nothing about the Southside, while Jerry parks his ass in Arizona and threatened to move the team to Florida, but that's fine.
  27. OF is pure minor league. Four years of Getz worse than ever.
  28. There is zero places where a guy makes a commitment on a 2 billion dollars with zero say on the present situation of the company. They have to say stuff like this because of the tax implications of turning over control prematurely, but don't suffer from the delusion that he's not involved at all. That's not how this works in reality.
  29. Took one straight to the nuts
  30. This organization is so dumb. Keep Colson at SS.
  31. It’s 7 days now. It used to be 10. I believe if the team puts the DFA player on waivers, it triggers a 24-48 hour waiver period. Which means no team put in a claim for Lee. Mead either hasn’t cleared waivers, or the outcome hasn’t been reported yet. The Sox could actually use the full 7 days to look for a trade. Maybe the Nationals might want Mead via trade or waiver claim? They are pretty Meadiocre at corner infield already. 🤣 “Designate for Assignment (DFA) in MLB immediately removes a player from the 40-man roster to create space, initiating a 7-day window for the team to trade, release, or place the player on waivers. If they clear waivers, they can be outrighted to the minors or released, often allowing veterans to refuse the assignment.“
  32. Lee sucks but it's also the absolute best week possible to try and sneak a guy through waivers. I guess good job by the Sox keeping a fringe guy around that may still have a little juice in the squeeze.

We have several threads going or recently going (Fire Getz, Crochet Tracker, Benetti, Thomas Sues Sox) that all tie back to one thing: Jerry Reinsdorf is the controlling owner of this franchise. Until he's no longer owner of this team, this franchise will be a total joke and one of the worst operated in MLB. They'll continue to hire incompetent people, trade away All-Star talent, and alienate people who have been faces of the franchise. I'm just so sick and tired of this crap. None of this nightmare is going to end for Sox fans until Jerry relinquishes control of this team. I just hope our upcoming #1 pick pans out AND that JR is no longer owner by the time we get to the point where it's time to trade him away for some more prospects. I hope there will be enough of a fanbase left to salvage this franchise if he really hangs on to ownership until 2034.
  34. I was going to title the thread, “I’m comin’ Elizabeth!!!”
  35. I took Friday to survey my other options, I'm back and will report to Soxtalk for the gamethread later today.
  36. And man, at least Hahn took swings on both hitters and pitchers. In the big 3 deals he got Kopech, Giolito, Lopez, Dunning and Cease. Also Ian Clarkin but dude was obviously a step down. Getz pushed his biggest chip in for Thorpe and Iriarte.

2029 is bad enough as is...especially for those over 50 or 60. Feels like an absolute eternity.
  38. Let's hope not. Pitchers have zero chances to be extended...although that could change under Ishbia. We still don't know what they have in Colson and Braden. Two year wait on Bonemer...mid season 2027 at the earliest.
  39. Strange that this ended up being my 20,000th post. How the f*** is it even possible that I’ve posted that much. Lots of poop.
  40. And now Antonacci adds on with a HR, 11 runs in the inning Looks like they took notes from MIL yesterday, give up a leadoff homer and then just score forever. More HR than innings played lol Noah in the pen getting some tosses in to stay warm
  41. It’s just more avenues to get his bat in the lineup.
  42. Gotta be a soxtalker doing some profesh scouting for us all
  43. Of all of the made up things to get mad about... this is one.
  44. Clueless+awful=Schriffen
  45. the 1.72 ERA across 62.1 innings is likely not being repeated, but I like this better than giving up a prospect for Cam Booser
  46. Hagen Smith can't throw strikes. For me, he's 70/30 a reliever at this point. I'm still a big believer in Schultz, but hopefully his lower body actually is stronger this year because he needs it. McDougal I don't think has the command in the zone to succeed right away in the big leagues. There is no cavalry coming to the rescue in my opinion. And that occurrence would be on the other side of the median outcome.
  47. Their pitching is all about what the big 3 starters are doing at AAA. I said it before, but their AAA rotation is probably better than their MLB one. I fully expect at least one of those guys, possibly all three, to be part of the rotation by September call ups. If it's not, we are fucked.
  48. I obviously don't think one game matters, and I have them around 67 wins for the season, but their bottom 30% pitching outcome is historically bad... and the bottom 30% isn't exactly all that unlikely or impossible.
  49. Still like what we got all around. Kristian Campbell and Marcelo Mayer were the guys I liked from the Red Sox, thought Teel was redundant, thought we could've drafted B Montgomery instead of Smith. Turns out Mayer and Campbell are kinda bums and Montgomery I think will be a very good big leaguer. 4 players who look like actual major leaguers, two of whom might be all-stars, seems like as good of value as you could expect. That being said, I would've been very happy to extend Crochet to a giant contract. He's so good. Tigers almost certainly won't extend Skubal and get nothing in exchange, but that would've been a very fun battle to watch over the next 5 or so years.
