If that's the case I hope we don't trade with the NYM. We already have a RH 1B in Vargas. And Getz is supposed to hate this profile...WTF. We need someone with LH power besides Colson. Forget about Vientos.

Yeah that's how I see it too, cause yesterday Venable said he was available. IMO among realistic targets, NYM would be a better fit than PHI. Just get me Gilbert plus a 12-18 prospect like fathom said earlier.

This. I'd rather have Gilbert as the headliner. He looks like he may stick in CF and is starting to heat up at the plate.

BTV has Alcanatara SV at about 11. Houser at 5. Shouldn't be hard to do if we can throw in something else that might be helpful like Tauchman as platoon corner (4m SV) or a reliever or something assuming they are willing to move the player. The prices for high end pitching will be enormous and it seems they need more than one pitcher.
