Venable would get my vote. I would be fine with Sizemore as well. I'm partial to those guys who played in the majors. They have more creditability with the players IMO.

There are more good people than good jobs. I think our odds are good if we go outside the organization.

I feel 77 games under .500 seems hard to come back from. Maybe JR has a plan he could share with us.

Grady has the boys playing with renewed energy. They have played entertaining baseball in many of his games.

It's obvious that the players are playing with renewed energy and the games have been "watchable." I believe Sizemore has creditability with the players and that goes a long way.

Sizemore has these guys playing like they care. I wouldn't mind seeing him get a shot.

We have many bigger problems to fix. Ideally, Lopez will be the utility infielder, but he doesn't bother me like so many here.

These gigantic salaries are killing the motivation to work hard. Robert and Moncada are very rich men while having limited success.

Actually...building the scouting department, coaching staff, and finding B grade free agents is probably the right way to go for a franchise opposed to going "all in" on the star caliber guys. We definitely need to avoid the over the over the hill gang.

Sizemore needs to have a man-to-man discussion concerning how fast it can all end. He has been there.

24 million would buy 1 good player. I can understand that Getz believed the collective efforts of 7 players you name might out produce that 1 player, but it didn't work out that way. Maldonado at 4.5 million is the one that sticks in my craw.

Bill Veeck didn't have the money to compete but never stopped finding ways to entertain the fan. Lousy teams are part of baseball but failure to entertain the fan is inexcusable.

Makes me wonder if the team is being readied for a sale. Hope so!

I will need to adjust my pre-season projection now that we are trading all of our best players.
