  1. The only thing Reinsdorf was concerned with was his hair. Now more negative publicity heading the organization's way.
  2. Lazy, ill-equipped FO that doesn't do its due dillegence on any aspect of player personnel because of penny-pinching owner.
  3. Prayers Up for Liam and his family. He's a gamer. He'll beat it.
  4. Reinsdorf will continue trolling the CWS fanbase for the rest of his tenure. TLR may not be physically present in the dugout but he will be the Reinsdorf whisperer a la John Paxson. To have TLR scheduled to show up at Spring Training is such an affront to the new manager. But Grifol is resume-building so he probably doesn't give a damn.
  5. Reinsdorf trolling the base with yet another lightening in a bottle acquisition.
  6. Unlike CWS, there are no bad Dickens books.
  7. GradMc replied to bmags's topic in Pale Hose Talk
    Signed: Jerry Reinsdorf
  8. Yes I know it's wishful thinking
  9. I've always liked Andrew. If Oscar-Oscar comes through, the Sox will have a decent outfield. Eloy can be perm DH - it's for his own friggin good.
  10. No wonder Pito signed with the Astros. It's got to be such a refreshing change to play for an organization that prioritizes their fan commitment to putting a quality product on the field. CWS has the clearest path to perinneal post-season play than any other MLB major market franchise. Unfortunately that gift was tragically wasted on the Reinsdorf Group. This should be a great selling point to potential oligarchs interested in buying CWS.
  11. Now TA and Pito will come back here and kick our asses...
  12. Aaron Judge was scouted by Yankees all the way the back to his Grammar School days (how's that for elite scouting JR?). He is an Yankee for Life. No way in hell were the Yankees not re-signing him.
  13. f To win with lighting in a bottle, you gotta do the Mambo. Reinsdorf did that already. One Mambo per ownership.
  14. To use Reinsdorf as leverage for better deals elsewhere. None of these elite FAs want to be bothered with this toxic environment. Tori Hunter got the ball running. Tori played Reinsdorf like a stratavaris. Many other have followed on both 35th and West Madison.
  15. Correct because this organization is light years from another trip to the World Series unless some well-heeled oligarch-sportsmen come in and relieve us of the 40 plus year Reign of Reinsdorf.
  16. I love it. God bless him. And what a master middle finger to CWS Ownership and Management.
  17. Gotta love that owner.
  18. If lost-in-the-last-millennium Reinsdorf makes him hide / cut his hair, he won't win one game. That's a problem with Kopech too. It's part of their persona. Let these guys be who they are !!
  19. Speaking of bringing someone along slowly, If CWS still had FTJR, he would just be making it to the majors - maybe. FTJR should be on his knees every night thanking God he got away from highly toxic CWS ownership/management in one of the worst player transactions in the history of MLB. Reinsdorf giving anyone but himself 300 million deals is netherworld laughable. But he fails to realize to have those multi championship parades his GM promised, his competition are those kinds of ownerships that will stop at nothing to win. 5 years later we are still talking about the same positional needs.
  20. Of course they are. Lightening in a Bottle Case #500.
