Not that I'm not one of the sharks circling the sinking ship, but much of Hahn's failure is attributable to injuries and player regression. Throw in bad managing and coaching too. But his bad talent evaluation gets the grand prize.

We are ignoring that Jerry didn't want James Shields (he can read stats, after all), but went along with Hahn in getting him, and to boot gave away Tatis to save a buck.
