I understand that losing Robert, Eloy, and Moncada makes them significantly worse. I also understand that they were going to be absolutely pitiful even with those guys playing. I also ALSO understand that we are going to hear a lot about how their lack of success was due to injuries, which is extra comical because like, THE INJURIES ARE YOUR FAULT!

I think the cost of that approach is an obvious deterrent for JR, but another reason he hasn't/won't go that route is because it would mean that he would have to do something...different! *gasp* And that would require, you know, actual work.

At least Eloy, Moncada, and Robert are together again. Kind of heartwarming if you ask me.

I think it's safe to say that baseball means more to baseball players than the average person's job means to the average person (Anthony Rendon notwithstanding). Factor in the competitive nature of the game and I just don't think it's an accurate comparison.

I wonder if teams would be hesitant to move him back to a relief role and risk messing with his development as a starter, thus making him more of an investment for the following years. Which does not provide any further clarity on what his trade value might be lol.
