Snopek

Questioning them is fine. Treating every little thing like it's unique to the White Sox and a result of their dysfunction is being willfully ignorant and lazy.

I’m onboard the “Miguel Vargas becomes a decent MLB regular” train. Even bolder, Luis Robert stays healthy and productive up to the trade deadline.

So you’re just skipping right past the rational middle ground and going from one extreme to the other?

Huh. Very cool for him. Even though I thought Davis Martin deserved it.

I liked those San Diego ones. One of the few city connects that actually felt fun and creative.

Some people would prefer to do other things with their time and money than watch the bad baseball team that they are a fan of. Seems pretty simple.

I’m not really seeing him getting past the Raiders.

Sure, but I don't think that should prevent the Dodgers from being proactive about a trade now. I think it's all relative to how they want to approach it. You can make a lesser offer now, using the greater injury risk and performance uncertainty as leverage. Or you can let things play out and if Robert looks good, you're more comfortable with him as a player, but you're probably not going to be able to buy as low as you could have earlier.

True. I just want a third option that doesn't involve Gallo at all. This is Moustakas 2.0 nonsense.

Josh is whatever but I'd say Margalus is more objective than the average poster here.

Is there really no one else that can be getting these Gallo at bats?

Sandy Alcantara feels like an obvious target, but I don’t know if the Yankees have the prospects to get it done.

I think it's having the solid vets around while Caleb is still on his rookie contract where you can more easily spend money. Meanwhile you're also drafting and developing for the future without relying on them being starters from day 1.

Does it personally hurt you that Cali enjoyed yesterday’s game?

That’s, uh, not true at all.

Side note: Is there a way to embed a bluesky post like we can do for tweets?

https://bsky.app/profile/jakerill.bsky.social/post/3ljqit2gzac2i Grayson Rodriguez with triceps soreness. But hey, at least the O's have all their top prospects.

Artie Moreno’s ears just perked up.

Poor Oakland fans. If only their team was forced to spend money earlier. Good for Butler, though. Dude can ball.

Hey Kevin Durant, quote this post so we know what your name is on here.

The Sox were obligated to pass on this youngster since he's merely a 29 year old child.

I really hope Davis Martin gets the opening day start. It’d be a really cool honor for a dude who has been with the org for a while and worked his way back from injuries. That being said, I fully expect it to be Martin Perez because he’s a more established pitcher and blah blah blah.

The baseball gods probably never heard of the white sox.

Maybe I only saw the lowlights last year, but wasn’t Vargas like Sheets level bad in LF?

Ok nevermind
