  1. Right, those are predictions and projections, which is completely different than definitively saying a team made a mistake in a trade while the results are still playing out. No, because his win/loss % literally puts him at the bottom of the list and since he is no longer managing the White Sox, that win/loss % will not be changing.
  2. I will never understand the obsession with deciding who won a trade while the outcome is still happening in real time.
  3. Need at least one for every 15 game hot stretch he has the rest of his career, while ignoring the two month stretches where he bats .150 with a 30% K rate.
  4. Extend him.
  5. Not sure what my post has to do with Getz. Deciding how the careers of Thorpe and Vargas will turn out feels like a waste of energy is all.
  6. More amazing to me is how many Sox fans on an internet message board think they are professional scouts.
  7. The other spending problem is that JR does not want to spend time or energy either. Investing in a revamped analytics and development system is a foundational organizational change that I can’t imagine he’s even remotely motivated to make happen.
  8. Any team that loses to the Sox gets fined $5 million dollars.
  9. But that would require "work" on JR's part, in that he'd have to spend several minutes thinking about the next step or two.
  10. As the old saying goes, "one man's trash is that same man's same trash why on earth is he digging through his own garbage bin"
  11. So many great bobbleheads to collect
  12. It’s hard to fathom that the Sox, as an organization, are in the same professional league as all these other orgs. It’s like sending a toddler to college.
  13. Eh at this point I feel like any post can go in any thread. It’s just one big shitshow.
  14. After that comes the uniform redesign. Something navy blue and gray and bland as hell.
  15. Yeah, he’s generally not bad to people, unless those people happen to be Sox fans.
  16. The White Sox are the Spirit Airlines of professional sports organizations.
  17. That’s where I’m at. Even these idiots can stumble into a random win.
  18. Maybe they left him at the airport while he was in the Garrett’s Popcorn line.
  19. Anyone there just reading a book during the game?
  20. I don’t really agree with that. Buying isn’t exactly a luxury for a lot of teams. They’re under pressure to add. And they have to compete with other buyers.
  21. I don't think Crochet is going today.
