Burger taking reps at 2B
Ha, responsibility. It will just be referred to as more bad injury luck.

Burger taking reps at 2B
For an organization that’s so risk-averse, they sure seem to have no problem throwing caution to the wind on some real dumb ideas

5/24 Sox @ Guardians 12:10PM
Seems like a caulfield post on this should be incoming

Why did the downfall happen and could it have been avoided?
Kind of goes hand in hand with your second one, but specifically the inability to draft and develop talent.

Fire Rick Hahn
You just listed a bunch of reasons why he’s a terrible GM (minus the quotes - it continues to be mind boggling why people get so offended by those.) I hate the job he’s done, but holy f*** the dude hasn’t personally wronged me. He’s probably not an awful person ?♂️

Sheesh, some of y’all take sports fandom way too seriously.

Kopech turns to rubble. (Fangraphs article)
You mean those two starts that he had 11 walks in? We have different definitions of "fine and looking better and better".
-
Who would you actually pay to watch hit?
I'm dumb enough to drop a few bucks to see five Aaron Bummer at bats.

It was open, but then a bunch of bees flew in. Now we have a bunch of bees in here.

Jesse Rogers: Sox Sign Benintendi - 5yr / $75M
This is actually a great question now that the team looks to be in pretty awful shape for the foreseeable future.

2024 FIRST PICK TANKATHON THREAD
Trade the pick to the bears.

When the only two teams in baseball with a worse record than you are actively trying to lose while you are running a $186 MM payroll, you are in fact the worst team in baseball. Good job Rick. (Bump)

May 12 Astros @ White Sox 7:10
There’s nothing to like about this team. I guess the uniforms are cool?

Teams who will be selling...
Lynn sure is boosting that trade value huh.

Least likeable team since 2000
No, although that didn't exactly help. Last year had higher expectations, an off-putting and unwarranted cockiness, and the same listlessness as this year. 2022 truly felt like a team constantly getting in their own way and not doing a damn thing about it. 2023 just feels like a team that isn't good enough. They're not getting in their own way, they're just a bad team.

Maybe Rick Hahn said that, maybe he did not.

5/10- Sox at Royals, 6:40
Are we back to non competitive at bat Robert already?
-
Who is the Sox All Star?
TIL your dad has like 10 different soxtalk accounts.

5/9- Sox at Royals, 8:40
I’m excited for Gio to rid himself of this trash organization. Pretty easy guy to root for.

Nightengale: Gio won't be on 2024 White Sox
Yep, and in addition to the injuries and lack of depth, I am actually getting pretty tired of hearing about the potential and talent of the core guys. We've been hearing for a couple years now how good the team is "on paper" and how much talent they have. I'm at the point now where I think the talent has been overrated and/or the Sox just don't have the ability to harness that talent.

Opening up my mind to giving the season a clean slate
If they're not going to be a playoff team, I don't have much interest in them just being competitive. Hovering around .500 does nothing for me. Bring on total chaos instead.

Rick Hahn All Sux Team
Sneaking Hanser in at RP is pretty smooth.

Sox gear
“Well I wear a 7 1/4, but I’m just a huge 7 5/8 fan.”
-
5/4- Sox vs Twins, 1:10
Rushing hurt players back is just another repercussion of having no depth.

Jake Burger placed on the 10 Day IL with a strained left oblique. White Sox recalled Lenyn Sosa in corresponding move.
Sure, but there's always the option to just not speculate.
