  1. Agreed. Contracts are officially out of this world. It's even seeped into the colleges. The Duke quarterback according to reports getting 5-6 mill to play next year at Miami?
  2. Didn't he shake the injury bug last season? Maybe if we put a .500 ish team on the field it'll wake up Robert even more. Has to be tough to play when none of your at bats matter.
  3. Will the NFL even allow them to move to Indiana? Cmon, the team is the Chicago Bears. The NFL doesn't want them in Indiana. Calling them the Chicago Bears with them residing in Indiana would be weird and wrong. I agree even if they can save a ton of money they won't move to Indiana. I guess if Pritzger talks tough and doesn't back down at all, the Bears could take their ball and go home so to speak, but does anybody actually think they'd move to Indiana. I don't care how much they'd save it won't happen. What odds do you give a move to Indy? I'd say 5-10%.
  4. Now that the Bears have a good coach and some good young players and are good again ... don't discount that in negotiations. Pritzker will soften. Bears will stay in Chicago. I still say Arlington Heights would be nirvana for them just like the Cowboys' complex, etc.
  5. As far as the Cub ... Bregman's stats from last year (18 homers?? That's all?) make me think he's way overpaid by the Cub.
  6. Good line. Funny how during the dregs years the Sox always go hunting for bodies in the bullpen this time of year.
  7. Was it cold? Do they sell coffee/hot chocolate?
  8. No matter what happens the rest of the season he was the leader of the biggest Bears comeback win over Green Bay in series history. He was so good.
  9. I love games in Chicago history where the fans are in no hurry to leave the stadium. Cheers.
  10. Nice hustle, Mr. Sweat on second down. Crazy final play. Celebrate, fans. Toast the team on Rush Street baby. It's only 10:35 p.m.
  11. The last 3-4 passes have been pinpoint precision. Karma baby. Root for the Bears D.
  12. Damn. They are marching.
  13. Fourth and seven ... bummer.
  14. You are right. A lot of time, but we have uncle Mo (Momentum) on our side at this juncture. Best vibes to the defense.
  15. My goodness. The Bears are winning tra la tra la. Cmon kickoff team and defense!
  16. Love me some Loveland.
  17. Can't ask for more than getting the ball with 2:51 left and only needing a FG for OT. Cmon Bears. We believe in you. I want me some OT.
  18. Cmon D. A 3 and out would be dandy.
  19. Bears fans going wild.
  20. Holy bleep. Not over yet. Nice job Williams.
  21. Inches. Bears woulda been in great shape if they had recovered the ball around the 50 down by one score. Bad luck.
  22. I'm a bandwagon Bears fan, just the playoffs. From my new Bears eyes I didn't like the play of our QB at all and also our defense getting shredded on short passes. Is Caleb good? And is the Bears' pass defense lousy? I'll hang up and gratefully listen.
  23. The Royals definitely want out of Kauffman. I'm sure the city will accommodate them after the embarrassment of losing the Chiefs.
  24. The Indiana talk is absurd. The Bears aren't leaving Illinois. They probably won't even leave Chicago for AH. From an outsider it's obvious Arlington Hts would be nirvana for the Bears. Sweetheart deal to move there and it's obvious they are would be turned into an amazing place full of hotels, restaurants and the like. Surprising they won't move to Arlington. But Indiana? Please. Ain't gonna happen.
