I really like what we have down in the minors and am pleasantly surprised just how solid Meidroth and Q have been. Vargas has been outstanding the last month and our starting pitching has been good. I am a White Sox fanatic and love the team, but I welcome any diehard Sox fan on this board with positive or negative comments. It has been a very trying and frustrating last couple of years but baby were back !!
My uncle had Bears season tickets in the early 60's. I seem to recall he said the 1963 season tickets were either $28 or $35. He did go to the Championship game against NY but had standing only tickets.
I know, pump the brakes, it's way too early but:
Colson Montgomery last 7 days .400/.478/1.328 with 2 hrs.
Hopefully Vaughn can be viable when he comes back.
JR, "Getz you're killing me with these cash deals."
Besides being tall, it looks like Castro has serious control issues. It is hard to watch a bullpen guy come in and start walking people.
I was at Moose Skowron's wake and the White Sox and Yankee organizations are first class, much respect and love.
My thoughts on lifting the ban on Pete Rose cheapens the whole aura of the HoF.
Way to early but projecting ahead, Braden Montgomery RF, Q catching, Meidroth 2nd base, and Vargas 3rd base.
Should Teel be getting moved to 1st base now in the minors?
It happens every year in MLB with pitching reclamation projects producing results. Bannister has shown he can scout and then get the most out of guys like Fedde, Smith, and Vasil. The ballclub needs to expand this to hitting prospects.
In 2026 If JR does decide to spend and get a free agent go after Josh Naylor if available.
Last week on the radio I heard discussion of Rafael Devers making it known he is not happy getting moved off 3rd base. For a split second I thought the Sox could make a possible trade offer, then reality set in.
