  1. Trade for Freddy Peralta & Devin Williams. The Mets eat Williams 2026 contract and the Sox pickup his deferred money for 2027 & 2028, extend Peralta's contract. Getting them out of NY might be what the doctor ordered.
  2. Joe Rock 4 punch outs in the Bronx, nice.
  3. What this calls for is a full blown Revival to lift the spirits , or to start drinking.
  4. 2020 # 1 Garrett Crochet trade 2 players currently on the 26-man roster with 1 more to be added. 2021 #1 Colson Montgomery, #3 Sean Burke 2022 #1 Noah Schultz 2023 #1 Jacob Gonzalez, #2 Grant Taylor 2024 # 1 Hagen Smith until shoulder impingement was coming up, #5 Sam Antonacci 9 players on the 26-man roster.
  5. It's 6/17 and the White Sox are in first place, they have the #1 pick on 7/11, they are coming off 3 sold out games, Teel, Schultz, Mune are coming back soon, I'm loving this.
  6. $7 Billion 1901 Project — West Side's Largest Ever — Breaks Ground On Music Hall, Hotel, Retail Space JR is already developing around the United Center. I believe Ishbia is going to do the same thing with the White Sox. Where Ishbia decides to invest is still up in the air.
  7. Go get'em today.
  8. Get Rev Ike, "Heal my brother heal".
  9. No doubt the Sox have to develop talent, I give them kudos for developing a first-place team. Hagen Smith & Noah Schultz could be the pitching that elevate the Sox to serious contenders. I want to see how Noah pitches coming of the IL. Hagen Smith has me worried, I can't help but think of Carson Fulmer. If they can get those two guys going it is a game changer for the franchise.
  10. The Cardinals, Dodgers, Arizona, and Coors Field were not kind to Shane's era.
  11. 1 year ago, 6/17/25, Shane was eating innings and had a 2.85 era.
  12. Mark Belanger comes to mind.
  13. My dad's fav was Billy Pierce also
  14. That's a fact jack: The Sox lead ALL of baseball with 24 wins at home. cue the music: George Thorogood & The Destroyers - Bad To The Bone
  15. Thanks for the tip, I didn't know who that dude was.
  16. A healthy Shane Smith would be an absolute godsend.
  17. I agree with you on the instant impact that both Allen and Mune had on the team. Mune was being discussed as a potential MVP and also ROY.
  18. The Sox trade William Bergolia and a player to be named later to Atlanta for Reynaldo Lopez. Lopez goes to the pen, and Grant Taylor can be used more for closing.
  19. 1972 was a strike shorten year. Dick Allen hit 37 of the teams 108 total homers, 34%. Only two other players were in double figures at 10 & 12 home runs. Bill Melton only played 57 games because of a back injury and hit 7 homers. Dick Allen was a one man gang , league MVP, it was the greatest single season I have ever seen from a Sox player. He was the Michael Jordan of baseball in 1972.
  20. This might open the door for Vargas to the All Star team.
  21. As a totally biased Sox fan I could never cheer for the Sox to get no hit or a perfect game thrown at them. That doesn't make me right and someone cheering for the perfect game wrong.
  22. Tristan Peters I would like to thank you very much. John Cleese says thank you very much
  23. What is Winkelman Gonzalez's status? Is he done for the season with his lat injury?
  24. I am thinking 1990, good young position players, good bullpen, not enough starting pitching, 2nd year manager.
