Ben Rothwell sick and out of his fight against Cro Cop on Saturday, they got a last minute replacement, an Aussie who has been fighting at 205 lately and had 2 losses in the UFC in '06. Also, the King of Rock and Rumble out as well, they just scrapped his match.

The Sox have shown in the past they will extend payroll, and JR has said it this off-season, if the right player is there. I like Damon as a fit for the White Sox a lot too, but maybe the White Sox don't see him as that player and think one will become available.

I would be a happy Sox fan if they land him, but would trust the org if they didn't value him at what he wants.

I don't think the golf thing has much to do with anything. AJ and Damon have known each other for a long time I believe they went to the same HS and Hawk has said numerous times he saw both play in HS.

well, the injury bug is still biting the UFC, Belfort out of his fight with Silva in Abu Dabi due to a shoulder injury. Meltzer thinks they will offer it to Sonnen, but he's on a 30 day medical suspension for the nasty cut and there's a question if that thing could heal well enough in a little over 2 months
