On an unrelated note it seems Amare is on the market now and it would be amazing if we could package Deng and Tyrus or Hinrich to acquire him.

Instead of spending all the needless money on Ankiel/Pods I think they'd of been better off acquiring another SP.

Well I'm officially off the Illini bandwagon, I guess I should switch my alliegance to my school's team, at least at SIU are football team is competitive.

Retherford would definitely be a great player to have on the major league team if he can develop as a catcher. It would pretty much give us an extra roster spot since he could play the middle infield too.

Yeah Im still failing to see what is holding the white sox back from signing Thome. If Ozzie wants to rotate the DH spot more he can still do that by sitting Thome vs lefties. It would make the lineup much better, be relatively cheap signing, and bringing back a fan favorite....
