In this case, we are not using it as a euphemism for putting them down.

yeah...for me ...there is just no point. I like the minors in depth because I appreciate how freaking hard it is to get to the majors and I get enjoyment out of the possibility of a guy like Remillard making a day or two up. But if Colson succeeds and is awesome and comes up and plays on a mid-70 win sox team for his career, I will not enjoy it. I'd rather they trade him and send him to happiness. Like sometimes people get a great dog, but realize that dog needs what you can't provide them. A yard, love, whatever. Kibble isn't enough. Send them to a farm where they can be happy.
  4. Hard to unwind. I'm sure that was difficult. It's 19 games. This isn't the first small game sample Benintendi has collected with a high ground ball rate.
  5. We wait until they struggle, which for Robert didn’t really happen. But it’s why they thought our last HC was good, he got high swing and miss players to drums contact. They just sacrificed all power and patience for it. Hard to unwise this stuff.
  6. Exactly what you want with a slappy single team
  7. More impressive to me is how often Hoyer has built a team with a league best defense.
  8. It was more the feeling of Chicago about the white Sox about to take over and cubs reign ending
  9. I think I low key knew it was over at machado, but definitely when they traded intl space to rid Nate jones contract. was in denial but I knew
  10. Whoops forgot the second half of 2021. Unlikely. But hilarious they lapped us so quickly
  11. Do you remember our gloating when Sox traded for kimbrel and cubs cut bait on all vets? I gotta imagine we are close to same record since now
  12. Does anyone belong to a lobbying firm pls DM me
  13. This is so dark. This is blackhawks early 2000s dark. The only thing that will make things better (moving on) isn’t gonna happen. We need to basically start lobbying for some sort of cromnibus addition that states the after tax death rate for passing on properties in industries with antitrust exemptions is 90%
  14. The white Sox front office is basically a baseball management fantasy camp for north shore failsons
  15. I wake up sad, then remember this thread and feel joy.
  16. Success = paying a third of your team salary on a bad bullpen for your decent starters who lack command and have high pitch counts
  17. I’m not sure I’ve seen three harder hit balls.
  18. What are the odds they don’t walk us off?
  19. Home runs are nice. Really wish we tried for those more often.
  20. Meh he’s been an ok middle reliever. That’s not what I was hoping for after 2019.
  21. That pitch is why it’s so hard to give up on Bummer ever
