  1. The Tigers/Sox brawl in 2000 was probably the best, but the Cubs/Sox brawl in 2006 was pretty close behind based on sheer shock value
  2. I used to get Tony's or Tombstone pizza in college. Its probably the best sponge for consumed alcohol in the world.....or in Carbondale. And I love it slightly burned too. Maybe i just grew to like it because i kept burning the damned things, but it is almost impossible to cook one of those things so that the bottom doesnt burn and the middle of the pizza isnt cold. So I chose the overcooking method and i love it. Oh yeah, and hot sauce fixes every burned pizza

    i am drunk

So any time I want to get drunk, I will declare it unofficially Earth Day.
  4. I was just reading that Samoa Joe's contract is expiring soon, and while he states he is loyal to TNA, he never said he wont work at WWE. Think there is any chance Vince makes a splash and steals away one of their superstars?
  5. I went to a Sox/Indians game in 2000 and the game was delayed about 2 1/2 hours, so we just bummed around the park and got completely hammered since it was for my birthday. I got to stay and watch Herbery Perry trip on 3rd base and fall on his face trying to catch a Jim Thome pop foul, and then watch Thome hit the next pitch over the fence to dead center field, it had to be 450 feet. Frank Thomas also hit a homerun that game about 2 rows beneath us in the bleachers. I just remember it being ridiculously cold, misty, and I was double fisting heinekens all night It wasnt a rainout, but it should have been. I bet there was less than 3000 people left in the park after the rain cleared
  6. QUOTE (Texsox @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 03:50 PM) And the Cubs are going to move their 75 million dollar man elsewhere?
  7. QUOTE (Texsox @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 03:39 PM) I see Crede in pin stripes are they going to move their 300 million dollar thirdbaseman elsewhere?
  8. QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 12:44 PM) Pfffft...call me when there's a two-faced baby. what is your phone number? http://www.stuff.co.nz/4470314a10.html
  9. Lyle Mouton, Lance Johnson, Craig Grebeck, Scott Fletcher, Joey Cora
  10. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 12:59 PM) Game called off, according to the Score. Not surprised at all Sadly, my first softball games of the year are called off as well
  11. http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/science/04/10...a.ap/index.html I figured this would interest Flaxx. Basically this frog adapted to life in fast moving, oxygen rich streams by breathing through its skin and no longer needing lungs. The guy who discovered this frog first saw it 30 years ago and has been looking for it ever since.
  12. QUOTE (tonyho7476 @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 10:17 AM) You know, Howard has never been one to do that...and if you heard it, it was not possible. True anger was seething from this guy today. It was nuts to listen to, if you are a fan of the show. LMAO
  13. sounds like Harry telling Mac to kiss his sack on the air a few years back. That was quite a publicity stunt as well
  14. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Apr 9, 2008 -> 01:12 PM) As much as I don't want to care, what did he say? It was more the tone of his voice than anything. You could tell he was looking at his shoes when he said it, and he was mumbling This is from the chicagosports.com "The Bulls are mathematically eliminated" article
  15. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 9, 2008 -> 05:51 PM) Just curious... how would one "style" a long chin beard anyway? Tie it pretty little braids? Maybe sme cornrows? Dye it fire engine red? I would love it if boone made one fat braid and let it grow
  16. both of your kids are absolutely adorable. Chaos, i assume you are prepared for trouble in the teen years like I am? My daughter just lost her two front teeth so she wont let me take her picture.
  17. Tito looking to maintain the streak Its all on you Tito, Im counting on you
  18. Maybe Stone just jazzed up the script of that show on comedy central that made fun of the Bush's, and turned it into a movie
  19. oH DARN, the Bulls are now officially out of the playoffs after losing to the Dwayne wade-less, Shaq-less, Shawn Marion-less, Blake Ahearn led Heat. If anyone heard kirk hinrichs comments after the game, the guy has to go. I always had his back, but I have NEVER seen a player give up as much as he has and act like its no big deal. Chicago just aint his type of town
  20. I would like to make one clarifying statement about my feelings regarding Crede, and then I truly am done with this thread until after the World Series. I like Joe Crede as a third baseman for the White Sox, I have supported him through thick and thin(and there has been plenty of thin). I just see Boras as a huge obstacle in the way of Joe staying with the White Sox, and I understand that Boras wants to maximize his value, especially considering his back issues. I also like Josh Fields, and I think he will be a fine player for the Sox as well, but they are currently putting him and themselves in a tough position regarding his MLB future(ie. they are stunting his growth). The season is long, and a lot of things can happen. I just want the Sox to be successful, that is all.
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 8, 2008 -> 09:33 AM) They should just let the AGE OF ORTON dominate until WrestleMania next year. Yes, I need another whole year of angry looks and bad mic work. What they should do is let Batista and Orton fight until one of them cannot work the mic anymore. Last man talking wins
  22. QUOTE (Good Guys @ Apr 8, 2008 -> 10:11 AM) First time poster here. This site is great by way. I have seen a couple things that have got me very excited. First off the game against Verlander. While sitting there watching that game there was not one time I really felt the Sox were in danger of losing. Just a much different attitude from last year when there seemed to be no fight. The second thing is the aggressive style of play that we've seen. The Sox are going right at these other teams. That throw from Quentin to nail Renteria.... I can't remember the last time I saw a White Sox player make a play like that. For me it has been more than an encouraging start to the season. What a fun team to watch so far. Hope they can keep it up. Go Sox. Welcome!
  23. QUOTE (juddling @ Apr 8, 2008 -> 09:56 AM) gee...WWE setting up a pay-per-view headlining match with Cena/Orton/HHH/JBL ....wow...wonder how long it took them to come up with that one...lol As soon as the triple threat was confirmed and John Cena's music hit, I turned RAW off. Too many people fueding for the same thing, its getting ridiculous. Personally I am looking forward to seeing Khali and the SHow throw down finally. I want to see if there can actually be a worthwhile match to watch with Khali, and the Show is probably the only one who can work with him.
  24. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 8, 2008 -> 06:31 AM) Nobody else that I can remember helped bring a championsihp here, so as far as I'm concerned, Ozzie can do whatever the hell he wants. Even Mike Ditka got fired.....
