QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 08:25 AM) With every $10 purchase = a quick way to bankruptcy.

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 12:06 AM) Every Bulls game thread should end with an Eddy Curry-Tyson Chandler debate... And usually does, unless Janero Pargo gets into the game.

This is totally fair. If the NCAA is going to exploit these kids for money, they should have to share the funds with them. Its garbage that the NCAA rakes in these billions of dollars off of the backs of these kids. This is a good start towards leveling things out.

Anyone looking to do some deals?

Quality write up. I don't mind things being said about this team, good or bad, I just like to see that someone did his research. This guy looks like he could work in the Sox front office with his knowledge of this team.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 11:43 PM) Here's some Spring Training records... 'Nuff said. Good post. Especially when you look at how much time our starters have logged in B games, and how many guys we keep bringing over from the minor league complex every game to play the last 2,3,4 innings of each game. If they really wanted to put up spring wins, they wouldn't be playing guys like (RP) Josh Fields, and Tony Alvarez etc, with a week to go.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 11:16 PM) Another little blurb on B-Mac; That was something that jumped out at me in his last start. Even though he got hit hard, his breaking pitches has some bite to them. His 12-6 ought to be nasty in Chicago.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 11:12 PM) Vote Valdez for 25th Man!!! Not a chance. We have depth at all those positions, and Valdez hasn't really shown me much of anything when he was up in September and during March. We are fine with Ozuna and Harris as an emergency SS.

Virgina Union

QUOTE(Spiff @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 10:29 PM) That's true, for a minute there I thought he was actually on the team. We can't have that kind of confusion.

Not too much insight there.

QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 03:14 PM) Ozuna with two hits today, if he doesn't make the team there is something wacky going on. There is no way he doesn't make the team. Ozzie and KW were even talking about him before the pre-season started.

Weber: OMG what they say is really true!

QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 01:05 PM) How bout Jason Schmidt? I know you put that in green, but if Bonds is indeed out for the season, San Fran could be a in world of trouble. Especially if a couple more of those 40somethings breakdown, Jason Schmidt getting traded at the ASB could be reality.

Most excellent story Addy

They need some help on O badly.

Its hard to tell from spring training. Things look good so far, but there are things to be scared of as well.

I think we will see another Alex Escobar type trade in the next week. Someone will need a catcher or another IF and the Sox have extras.

Is this a year league or a keeper? If it is a keeper and you get Reed, I would do it for sure. Does anyone know if Reed is even supposed to start right away?

Happy Easter all!

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 09:49 PM) There's been some good vibes about the Bull in ST and I'm hearing talk about him being in Charlotte at the beginning of the year. That's the talk, anyways. Hopefully Brandon skipping Bham doesn't affect that too much, especially if the Sox only carry 11 pitchers. We have our fingers crossed for you big guy!!!

This might have been Pitino's best coaching job since taking Billy Donavon, Delray Brooks, and Providence to the Final 4. Incredible comeback.

West Virgina keeps answering back. 16 3's made so far.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 05:03 PM) That's being fairweather. Only showing up when they're good. A true fan is supporting the team, regardless the record and performance. The Bulls attendance has been at the top of the league ever since Jordan left. You could hardly call them fairweather.

Louisville is finally getting it. They are back within 4 now with about 10 minutes to go.
