Another huge difference between this and the Kane case is Rose's attorneys are calling this story outrageous. Kane's, as far as I have heard, have yet to say he didn't do anything criminal.

Looking on the intranet, it looks like the Orsillo guy only found out yesterday he was done in Boston. I doubt the White Sox have offered him a job. It is interesting one of his nicknames is Baghdad Bob, as he doesn't like to criticize poor play of the home team, but does seem to get high marks for his broadcasts from most.

Heck, just look how antsy the entire fanbase is, just 10 years removed from the series. We have been awful the past 3 years and it isn't fun. But at least with White Sox fans, once the Sox won, making the playoffs wasn't good enough. Now maybe it will be for a little while, but it certainly wasn't in 2008. And if you technically make the playoffs as a WC and bow out after 1 game, is that really considered satisfying?

For me it's Navarro in a runaway. He actually once complained about run support after a game he allowed 9 earned. One guy who is up there at least if you are talking home fans, Claudell Washington. Opposing fans, Albert Belle can hang with AJ, but it was only 2 years. Other than that, nothing since I have been following is even close.

The Posada scouting report was written while he was in the minors. It wasn't like it was something that kept the White Sox from signing him.

They make money on these preseason games. They aren't going away unless they are turned into regular season games.
