  1. Who cares about double header games
  2. Yea and I think you let dude go 7 since he just signed that contract. He wants to complete the game for the fans and the team.
  3. He must be tough to see today. Maybe he has his best best stuff. Probly a tip the cap situation
  4. I don’t think you have to hope 2021 is only the start. The Sox have arguably the greatest collection of young talent ever assembled in the history of the game. Barring asteroids or acts of war…the AL pennant goes through Chicago for the next 5-10 years
  5. So exciting. Hang in there everybody. Have a feeling we get Abreu back too when he rejoins the team.
  6. Absolutely. FYI I don’t think they have ever seen Crochet as a starter and I also think he’ll be throwing 102 in the playoffs.
  7. Couldn’t disagree with a post more
  8. I have hope he puts up some 10WAR seasons too. I also prefer 10 WAR seasons to 5 WAR seasons, just like you. When is he gonna walk into Trout’s house and piss 12 WAR all over his face? Hopefully sooner rather than later.
  9. Well he’s been terrible, then superstar, then injured-terrible, and now weak OBP machine GG. Who is the real Moncada? And what makes you assume solid regular is correct? Just curious
  10. Yes I don’t get going full priss over this. Sox own the draft, as hard as it is for some to admit
  11. Completely agree except on Vaughn. I’d put Vaughn & Burger in the same top tier of possibly being elite natural hitters. If they approach their ceilings, I think you can see them both being pretty easy .900 OPS guys getting there in slightly different styles.
  12. I’m cool rolling without adding an OFer. A reliever would be great. Gonna need tons of arms to get through the second half
  13. It just seems so clear that the FO knew RR wasn’t the guy, and couldn’t in good conscience let him take the reins for 2021. So I’m of the opinion that the guy they wanted to lead the team long term through this dynasty wasn’t available this offseason. So if that’s the case, then a placeholder was needed. The TLR hiring makes more sense under that light.
  14. I definitely agree. Let’s focus on players who help instead of stuff like this. Getting better should be the goal
  15. Dude yea. Huge Big Boy move. This makes me feel like they are super serious, on a slightly higher level than ever before.
  16. I love the idea but dang. That would be a tough sell to Philly fans. His contract is so big that the prospect haul wouldn’t be much. And then they still don’t have a farm but have an extra 25 mil to spend each year?
  17. Little pen, little bit a paper…some cash
  18. Holy crap nice! We don’t even need Seth Beer anymore to wash it all down. Still wish that dude was in our system.

  20. I agree. I wonder what all the money owed does to the prospect package needed.
  21. We’ll it all depends on how you play “Predict Abreu’s Second Half”. This is a contentious game and not for the faint of heart. I mean he could OPS over .900 without blinking
  22. “Chances to win are sacred” This FO always adds, right?
