  1. Sox started 4-2 in 2013, and 8-6 last year. Obviously you can't look at past teams with different players and different circumstances (especially as such a small sample size) as reasoning for success/failure but.... opening week doesn't dictate the season.
  2. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Apr 3, 2015 -> 02:39 PM) Fixed it to what I think they should/maybe will do I'm going to that Friday game in Detroit. Finally seeing Sale would be so dank.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 27, 2015 -> 12:44 PM) If our allies want to declare that apartheid is their official policy in order to win elections then they shouldn't be our allies. Exactly.
  4. If I work I wont. If I don't work probably listening in on MLB.tv Radio.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 18, 2015 -> 04:21 PM) Already won a starting spot in the Reds rotation Wow.
  6. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Feb 26, 2015 -> 09:58 AM) I currently have a beard and I love it. Agreed. Best decision I ever made was to finally grow it out. The ladies agree too.
  7. Wasn't Sanchez rated best defensive second basemen in the Carolina League in 2012? I'll go check it out.
  8. QUOTE (flavum @ Feb 18, 2015 -> 11:06 AM) MLB Network Games, for the out-of-towners. Five extras for the locals: 3-4 at Dodgers 8pm (tape-not on CSN) 3-5 vs Dodgers 2pm (live-not on CSN) 3-9 at A's 3am (3/8 game on tape-not on CSN) 3-15 vs Angels 3pm (live-not on CSN) 3-20 vs Cubs 3pm (live) 3-21 vs Royals 3pm (live) 3-24 vs Rockies 10pm (tape) 3-25 at Royals 8pm (live-not on CSN) 3-28 vs A's 3pm (live) 3-29 at Indians 7pm (tape) 4-2 at D-backs 3pm (tape) Good...good
  9. I don't think BABIP is a one size fits all stat. I think once on CC Brain Kenny even said if a player continuously has a high BABIP its okay because its "his line", or something like that.
  10. Lets see Eaton do it again before we start ranking him.
  11. The only reason to ever watch an episode; White Sox episode. Show is otherwise v terrible IMO.
  12. I posted with Brett on a different forum. This is all your going to get out of him. If you prove him wrong, he'll just reply with "sigh".
  13. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Feb 14, 2015 -> 08:06 PM) I really hope that this is Hawk's last year. He's literally losing his mind and if you look at some of the video of him during the ice bucket challenge it's obvious his body is frail and not up to the rigors of following the team for 162 games. It's in his own interests to scale back and I just hope he doesn't have to be forced out of the booth or turn into a situation like Harry Carry at the end. If you remember, he was going to scale back but because of all the moves Hahn made..he decided to stick around full time. He can gradually reduce time if he wanted. Start with most home games, all away games in the division, and at Wrigley. Then maybe half the home games, and no road games. And then he gawn.
  14. QUOTE (My_Sox_Summer @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 06:58 PM) Get a package, have rep access all year. Plus, as season ticket holder, you have lower level access. I have Fri, Sat and Sun for every home series. 38+ games? for under $200. $7 upper corners. Nice.
  15. How exciting can you be when you only have 14 winning seasons all time?
  16. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Feb 9, 2015 -> 05:00 PM) Just a little reminder that WGN games will not air outside the Chicago market anymore. That is f***ing horses***.
  17. QUOTE (Stev-o @ Feb 4, 2015 -> 12:26 PM) I'm curious, for all you AC/DC haters, what would you rather hear than AC/DC? ©rap "music"? Hip hop? Pop? I'm not a huge fan of their work, but I think Avenged Sevenfold's Hail to the King could be a decent replacement. OT: If the Hawks ever drop Chelsea Dagger, I hope their next goal song is the Terran Theme from the original Starcraft.
