I gotta kick this dead horse again. Our guys getting hit and opposing pitchers throwing inside, and the Sox never protect by plunking opposing batters. A.J. hurt by Chen last night. No wonder Chen [and so many others] have success against the Sox, they have the whole plate plus inside and outside to work with. No fear of retaliation from our all talk no action manager. A.J. gets hit, Butler gets hit. No discussion its just done. let the catcher think about it when he calls for an inside pitch. When he is at bat he is at risk.

Sale could start but with Thornton ineffective we need a lefty in the Pen. He may be more valuble there. He is not a proven starter but has shown he can do the relief job.

Maybe knowing you can pitch inside against the Sox, even hitting batters without fear of retaliation improves his odds. How many guys have to be hurt before we start fighting back? This has always been the case under Ozzie. He talks a tough game but then allows the opposing pitcher to throw it mercilessly at our guys. After A.J. got hit Butler gets hit. No discussion. An eye for eye every time ( except Quentin.)

The Sox have always tried to get Lillibridge to be a slap hitter. I think they finally unleashed him. Let him hit his natural way. I wonder how many he would have if had as many ab's as Done.

The only way to sever Oney from White Sox business is to fire Ozzie and wait for the storm to pass. I don't think Ozzie could control him even if he wanted to. Valentine or any one else has every right to question the White Sox this season. To have the threat of public Twitter attack at any legitimate crticism of the Sox is unacceptable. Maybe some one should find some dirt on this guy and threaten to go public with it if he doesn't mind his own business.

Why is Rios playing instead of Quentin? DeAza should be in center and Quentin in right and Rios out. Quentin hits two homers last night and is benched in favor of Rios tonight? They are both right handed right? This is the kind of thing that drives me nuts about Ozzie.

I truly believe some professionalism in the mangerial position will help tremendously. What if Gardenhire,Sciosia, or Girardi had this team?
