Heyman: Sox interested in someone on some team. Nightengale: *nods*
Can you serve a suspension when you're not on a 40 man?

Escobar would be a nice add. I have zero interest in trading Crochet or really anyone at the major league level to go get a major piece. Moving forward beyond 2021, our only real hole in the lineup RF. No reason to ship Crochet out of town for someone like Gallo or Frazier.

Is it time to rebuild the rebuild?
Yes - one bad series while the Sox are missing 3 of their best handful of players - and I think we should tear it all down. Fire sale. Start over. Maybe we'll be relevant again by 2027!

Sure, that works too. But lets not act like Frazier is some massive upgrade on Eduardo Escobar. Frazier has 285 PA sample of being good. Prior to the first 2.5 months of the 2021, Escobar has pretty clearly the superior player. I will take Escobar for 3 months for basically no prospect capital in return, rather than giving up legit talent for Frazier who then becomes a pretty underwhelming offensive RF in 2022. Madrigal is the 2B of this team moving forward. We need a stopgap, not a long term option.

What do you suggest?

I’d love Escobar assuming he’s pretty cheap.

Offensive dead weight
There is next to 0% chance that Yermin will be DFA'd in 2021. A demotion could be in order though - problem is, they don't exactly have any better options. For now, I would run Lamb out there against RHP. Wouldn't be opposed to giving Sheets a run at it.

I am not that worried Vaughn at all. Keeping running him out there. Yermin? I think its ovah for him. There is absolutely zero reason to throw him a strike and everyone in the MLB knows it.

Eloy can’t come back soon enough. The Yermin magic is longggggg gone.

How is this team good every year?

ELOY back Monday against KC
Eloy (and/or Luis) back anytime between the ASG and August 15 would be a nice W.

Is Leury's time almost up
Ahhhh....i totally misread that as two thoughts. "This is probably his last" "and hurrah (hurray) for Sox" I am not a huge Leury guy by any means, but its good thing he's been around. The less he plays the better, but its good to have a guy like that around. Its not like we have anything behind him that would be more exciting. This is probably his last season is a Sox uni, though. But there is no way he doesn't survive the season, barring injury.

Trade Targets in response to Madrigal’s injury
It’s a joke that he’s not playing right now.

Madrigal goes on 60 day DL, Hamstring tear: Goodwin recalled
Like it or not, this is going to Mendick's job for the next few weeks. Several people were clamoring for him a month or two ago instead of Madrigal. I guess they'll get their wish.

Madrigal goes on 60 day DL, Hamstring tear: Goodwin recalled
Yes. Yes he thinks they should give up. And he's going to tell us all why, and then backtrack in a few days and tell us that he was just upset and that is his way of coping. Rinse. Repeat. Rinse. Repeat.

Can we get Madrigal added to the banner, and then subsequently shaded out?

You're a clown dude.

So if they go the rest and rehab route, is it even possible to return in Aug/Sep? Would assume so, otherwise they'd just do the surgery.
