Minor League Catch-All 2021
Will Elijah play any affiliated ball this year? Where is he at currently?

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Who do you suggest, then? I am not a big Gallo guy by any means, but there isn't exactly a plethora of options. Gallo is basically the RF version of Grandal, so he wouldn't go over very well here, but he is a well above average ball player even with the poor batting average. My biggest issue is acquisition cost. If we could get him for mishmash of guys unlikely ever to be serious contributors to the Sox the next 4-6 seasons - I'd be all for it. But I don't see that all that likely.

Engel To Begin Rehab Assignment Tomorrow in AAA
Well, to be fair, when you lose two potential MVP caliber OF's, thins are going to get hairy. No team - even the Dodgers - are insulated for that.

At this point, may as well try it. He’ll be back. I’m in full support of finding a way to get him off mlb roster for 3 weeks at some point. He’s not hitting at all right now, so seems like a good time.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Haniger would be nice, but I just wouldn't want to give up a ton for him. He's always hurt, and and even though he's mashed in 2021 the OBP is still poor. Also not exactly sure he's the guy I want in RF in 2022. Makes the right handed heavy lineup more right handed, and also just makes the corner OF/1B/DH situation even more cloudy. Would I take him? For sure. Would I give up and current mlb pieces or a top 5 prospect for him? No.

The craziest thing about this manager situation - I legitimately despised Ricky's in-game management. It was horrible, and at the time, I thought just about anyone would be a better in game tactician. Fast forward 8 months and we have a man who will likely finish his career 2nd all time in MLB managerial wins, and I would literally do anything to have Ricky back at the helm. Still would disagree a lot with his on field decisions, but at least he was a fantastic man who everyone in the clubhouse loved playing for. Truly an amazing example of the grass isn't always greener. Have to imagine Rick Hahn has very similar feelings at the moment.

I wasn't referring to the other 34 occasions, Champ. I was referring to the occasion that our senile, out of touch, racist POS manager was a part of.

It literally says right in there that in 2000 Thomas Howard, a guy TLR managed on the Cards at the time, hit a 3-0 homer off a position player, and TLR didn't make a big stink about it. So no idea what you're talking about.

Someone tweet this at Fegan. He actually has the balls to ask The Ol' Bag about it.

The good ones also make enough money to never worry about money again if they're not dumbasses. So there's that.

Sox should have Rodon, Cease and Keuchel going in this series. Any idea who is supposed to go for the Yankmes? MLB.com has NYY probables as TBD for all three games.

Sox xW-L is 28-14. Tony has cost them 2 games with his dumb ass shit and not understanding the rules and negatively impacted several others with terrible personnel decisions. Its pretty obvious to anyone paying attention that he has been a hinderance to this point. The club is 26-16 IN SPITE of LaRussa, not due to LaRusaa.

Yeah, my list is small but I think I need to be more heavy-handed moving forward. So many good posters here, but plenty of trash to weed out.

I don't even know what you're talking about, and have no idea why you're badgering me. But half your posts have nothing to do with the Sox or games and are just pointless BS about other posters. You've earned a spot in my exclusive blocked list and I certainly won't miss reading your pointless BS daily. Congrats. Adios, amigo.

You said the FO needs to step in before he alienates the team. He already has alienated the team. That is extremely evident over the last 48 hours.

The Alex Colome with -0.8 WAR, 1.50 WHIP who is now pitching in low leverage situations and lost his closing job cause he was terrible and blew 3 saves? That guy?

Before? Oh, this shit is alienated.

I just hope to all hell this is a 1 year thing, and TLR walks away. The Sox are very very likely a playoff team (80% per FG) so I jsut don't see him getting fired after a playoff appearance if things calm down, but maybe he just keeps making asshat comments weekly to the point that he leaves the org no choice. It sucks to hope for clubhouse turmoil, but that is probably our best chance at a normal manager in 22.
