  1. I'm sorry...."AGAIN?" What the f*** does "again" mean here?
  2. I was at this one with my dad, my dad was so down on the Hawks, for years I tried to convince him the ABC line was legit, Ruutu was going to save the franchise, etc. It was the same deal with Kane and Toews...until he saw this goal in person and said "Ok this might be for real"
  3. I disagree with this, only because what the Sox really need is a pipeline of talent that starts at the draft and can produce solid ML players on a regular basis. Then you don't have to overpay for somewhat average players on the FA market.
  4. We literally have 15 years of evidence to tell us that as well. We aren't talking about small sample sizes here. I know Rick has limitations on him because of Jerry. We all do. You know who else has limitations? The Rays. The Brewers. The Twins. The Guardians. The Sox have a 183 million dollar payroll this season according to spotrac, good for 11th in the league. Top half. If you combined the payrolls of the Rays and Guardians, it still doesn't equal the Sox payroll.
  5. But again, that's what we've sort of been saying...It's not 13 games in April. This has been White Sox Baseball since about August of 2021. Not telling you "not to believe" and yes, I agree there still is a lot of talent on this roster...but there is FAR more evidence that this team/core isn't very good and holding onto hope that it will all suddenly just "click" doesn't come with very high odds
  6. This isn't a "told you so" post but for a lot of us, the warning signs were right in front of us, obviously dating back to last season (and even 2021 when they played s%*# baseball the 2nd half of that season) This is EXACTLY what a lot of us predicted given how they built this roster.
  7. As we sit here in April of 2023, looking at the lineup, against the team that is currently first in your division, with a chance to win the series, I can only think of this interview from Rick in 2019
  8. This absolutely is false for a number of the names you listed here. Total fiction.
  9. When are the “good” times? ?
  10. Tony replied to flavum's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Yes, Sox fans are to blame for Rick Hahn still being employed. Lol
  11. To me, I don't care what takes place...don't get thrown out in the 3rd inning. If he's pissed at the ump, fine...state your case and go back to the dugout. Tim got into it with Rayburn and didn't get thrown out. He got thrown out after he kept going at him or Webb in the dugout. You lose me there. You said the ump fucked up, move on. You're one of the better players on the Sox, they just lost Eloy...getting thrown out in the 3rd inning because you're mad is selfish and childish.
  12. Exhibit #9,392,126,592,102 that Spring Training stats mean NOTHING. (He went .353/.389/.706 this Spring)
  13. Then get him back the next AB. But now he won't have that chance because he acted like a 6 year old
  14. Keeping talking Tim, great work. Enjoy the rest of the day off.
  15. This team is so stupid, like always.
  16. Not sure I've ever seen that. And would have been curious to see if Vaughn would have rushed to cover, if the ball would have come out of the glove again
  17. I had no idea Gavin Sheets made this team
  18. It's such a letdown. Especially after last night...I want to sit down and enjoy another game right away, especially after not having baseball for 4-5 months.
  19. It's such a stupid scheduling quirk that has been in place for way too long
