We've been waiting for them to really turn things around, and they haven't done it. 90 or more losses now seems very possible. So much for the rebuild. Nice effort in Atlanta, but this team really isn't very talented. Most disappointing season I have experienced as a fan. It's been a while since this club has been at such a low point.

Yes, Colas should be in right field for the remainder of the year. In 2024, Eloy and Sheets should not be on this team.

The team has done next to nothing since the division title of '08. Then they staked their reputation on a rebuild that has failed. A drop in attendance is far from surprising and actually I don't think it's been that bad. In addition, attendance has been an issue for a long time, and JR has only worsened things. There has been times when it looked like the franchise was turning a corner and on its way to developing a deeper fan base. Then they went back to losing or alienate fans in other ways. This FO gets real arrogant when they have success. They don't seem to understand, that in sports, you can win big one day and get your ass kicked the next. There is simply no tradition with the Sox.

You're not being negative. They were horrible before the break. And several times during the past two seasons, I thought they had momentum and didn't. I'll just enjoy this for a day. Still 15 games under .500.

If a team is going to turn a season around, it first has to have confidence. These two wins can help. But let's see what they do during the rest of the road trip. What I really did like was the emotion after the 6-5 win.

At this point, there is not much you can expect out of Kopech. He has had his brilliant moments, but he hasn't shown that he is a consistent major league pitcher. The team mishandled him from the start. This game was just plain bad.

Disco Demolition was a nightmare, and any revival of it would only remind us of that nightmare. I have nothing against creative promotions to bring people out. Fun is fun. The Sox FO must be desperate if they are floating the Disco Demolition idea. The whole franchise became an embarrassment. The team is embarrassing enough at it is without reviving this nonsense.

Ozzie was no cancel culture victim if such a dumb ass thing exists. He became a bad manager and should have been fired in 2011. Bringing back an old employee would be another dumb thing the FO could do. Take the team in a different direction for god sakes.

I find the stuff about Moncada and Anderson just strange. Moncada gets hurt, the team states that it is relatively minor, and he will miss a couple days. Then he disappears for about a month. A team doesn't have to tell fans everything about injuries, but the things surrounding Moncada don't add up. What has happened to Anderson? Has he lost his skills? Is he playing hurt? No HRs at the ASB? Average in the low .200s? Whatever has happened to him, he doesn't belong at the top of the order. There are plenty of things wrong with the White Sox, and I bet we fans don't know the half of it.

Then how can he stand it? His name is associated with this nonsense.

We, as fans, have no other choice but to feel this way. Other than not going to games, we can do nothing else, and even a fan boycott won't change anything. In the end, we will only be called disloyal, and the idiocy will only continue.

Of course, they showed none of these things. And now the excuse of inexperience can't be used. These guys have played some games. It's already been a long season, and it will only get longer. They were lucky they didn't get completely swept in this last home stand. Just what have they shown us? And why should we have any expectations whatsoever?

Exactly. This offense has done nothing all year. St. Louis had only two runs going into ninth and yet they won. Tim has been bad, but other than Robert, no one in that lineup has done anything. Yes, Burger can hit the ball a long way when he hits it. But he has to hit it first. Same for Sheets. This offense is, at the very least, lifeless.

Good point, but if I was a Cardinal fan, I wouldn't want to travel that far to see that boring team. Anyway, I've been a Sox fan for a long time, and I can remember much smaller crowds, and it didn't matter who they were playing. 26,500 is good even with the influx of other fans.

The fact that Hahn is still around is even worse than the Sox performance on the field. The Sox are circling their wagons in response to public pressure. This only indicates that the team is totally dysfunctional. We would like to see action, but nothing happens, and the situation worsens. Firings should have happened after the Oakland series. Firings should happen during the break. Instead, the cloak of denial will go up and nothing will happen.

South Side Hit Men: You're right. Anderson doesn't look comfortable at the plate. There certainly is no appearance of cockiness or confidence. On the post-game show, Ozzie got defensive and told fans that the good Anderson will be back. That attitude tells me different. Tells me there is some big denial out there. The crowd of over 26,000 actually isn't bad considering the Sox are among the walking dead. In past bad years, attendance was worse. I think attendance is fairly decent considering the team is sitting on its hands watching everything self-destruct.

Anderson has no power whatsoever hitting the ball to the left side. Not even a hard ground ball. He looks like another Sox player who is hurt and doesn't belong out there. Moncada out there barely running. Last year Robert playing with one good hand. Now Anderson looks like he's playing at 30%. It is incredible how dumb this organization is. Why don't the Sox just come and tell its fans that it doesn't care about winning?

That's what he means, and the Sox have a grand total of three post season wins since 2005. The team won't be getting any more with the likes of Burger and Sheets around. RIght now, you can add Vaughn, too.

Actually, they have had some good crowds lately although I don't know why anyone wants to bother with this team. That ninth inning was horrible but also typical for the Sox this year. Three up, three down, the ball not leaving the infield if they bother hitting it at all. I don't know why any fan would dream of the Sox getting to .500. Isn't going to happen.

I hope not, as there was no other reason to pinch hit Grandal there. Eloy already had 2 RBIs and had a runner sitting on second. And yet ground ball Grandal gets sent up there. Just fire Pedro anyway.

Nice ninth inning by Frazier. Gets picked off and plays a goofy right field. Light hitting Oakland gets 21 runs in the series. Remillard is a player. The rest of the team can learn from him.
