Fire Rick Hahn
It’s really hard to see that actually in writing. This stupid idiot, who is in so far over his head he can touch the bottom of the ocean, has the third flipping longest tenure in all of baseball. You could not make this up.

Eloy...yet again...
There was someone else on the thread who compared him to Thomas. Jimenez is certainly part of the problem if they were counting on him to be an All Star or close to it and he can’t stay on the field. His high is 122(!) games played in 2019. He hasn’t sniffed 100 since. He’s played in 64% of the games this year and if he misses that pace he misses 100 games this year. He definitely is part of the problem. Not that you trade him but you don’t absolve him of responsibility. If he doesn’t contribute he’s part of the problem.

The Rockies might be more embarassing than Sox
I worked a trade so he’d be on the Sox in one of my APBA seasons

Eloy...yet again...
There’s not hate for Jimenez. He seems likable enough. Can hit the ball far in the rare times he’s not injured. He is certainly part of the problem. This board had him a perpetual All Star when they acquired him. Now six years later he’s hurt all the time. Likable guy but not really helping and part of the reason the rebuild did not succeed.

Eloy...yet again...
Jimenez is barely even Dayan Viciedo let alone Frank Thomas.

Eloy...yet again...
When did he become a fan favorite?

GameThread: White Sox @ Twins
Lynn and Giolito falling apart just before the deadline makes perfect sense.

Isn’t that nearly impossible? I would love to know if that is the lowest. I haven’t been able to find anything.

This team is going to lose 90 plus games...
Not just possible … I would take it to the bank. No way they play over .500 the next 65 games.

7/19 - Chicago White Sox @ New York Mets - 6:10 PM CDT, TV: NBCSCH Radio: WMVP 1000 AM
Atlanta out scores them in the series. I wouldn’t call that “dominating”.

This team is going to lose 90 plus games...
That's .462. They have played .412 so far this season. Even without the 10 game losing streak they are at .460 for the season.

This team is going to lose 90 plus games...
This seems about right three months later.

This team is going to lose 90 plus games...
This did not age well.

This team is going to lose 90 plus games...
This is basically guaranteed at this point isn't it? Just need to go 32-33 to lose 90. I don't think they can play that well, especially after the trade deadline. Would need to play .631 to get to .500. Impossible.

White Sox Winner Again!
Who's crying? Just asked a simple question about a basic feature that used to exist and now is inexplicably disabled for some users. If you don't have an answer you don't have an answer. Sorry to ask the question. Moving on.

Updated MLB Farm System Rankings After 2023 MLB Draft
Cubs seem to know how to do it right. Sox committing suicide in Chicago.

White Sox Winner Again!
Well I had you on ignore but now the features won’t let me. Any way to bring back that feature?
-
White Sox Winner Again!
Well usually when one quotes someone else and rants and raves they are usually lumping them in with their targets. So it’s not a stretch.

Interesting (and revealing) comments by Grifol...
And he said something to the effect last year that no one could talk to these guys and hold them accountable.

White Sox Winner Again!
Who said eat the money owed to Moncada? Put him at second base. That’s all I said.
-
White Sox Winner Again!
I don’t think anybody said Burger was the answer, just better than Moncada. Also Burger has 21 home runs this year. Moncada has 29 for the last three years combined. Burger > Moncada.
-
White Sox Winner Again!
Burger’s OPS during his awful slump slump since his peak in May is still what Moncada has been for the entire season. Use Burger. Stick Moncada at second if he has to play.

White Sox Winner Again!
Doesn’t matter. You don’t leapfrog three other teams at this time of the year. Especially when you’ll be selling in two weeks.

Merkin/Grifol..."By no means is this over"
Reinsdorf always lucked into things, and it was dumb luck, not creating your own. Jordan, Jackson, Skiles was a good coach, Thibs. They did not find these guys on purpose.

MLB Top 100
I think Rick Hahn used those lists in his acquisition research.
