Sucks Crochet got pulled but the bullpen is still set up well to finish this game out (barring some other weird, unexpected thing)

Edited by JUSTgottaBELIEVE

Now that was well done Timmy, awkward bounce and all.

Let's just let the Bumm man finish this whole game off. Guy is the GOAT

It could be something as simple as a cramp.

Gonna see Rodon and/or Cease

We’re definitely seeing Rodon for probably 2 innings and Cease for 1 or 2.

How the fuck do you bring in Bummer in the 2nd inning with the bottom of the lineup? You are taking out your best bullpen arm for the 2nd and 3rd inning. What the fuck are you doing?

Should follow up a lefty with the lefty with their lineup primed with LHH for the Dunning start. It wasn't in the cards for Crochet to be hurt . WHo do you want Rodon or Fry because thats your choices if you dont want to play into their hands.

Anderson has really stepped up his D. He played that ball very well

Rodon/Cease will have to give us a couple innings

I guess in a tight spot against a lefty in the late innings we’ll have Rodon? What could go wrong, right?

lets just put 8 on the board and not worry about that

Agreed, just have to pray it’s not going to delay him next year

They might have just done something we've never seen a team do; catch an injury before it becomes catastrophic. Fingers crossed.

ok

it's the 3rd

3rd - Bummer

4th - Bummer/Marshall

5th - Marshall

6th - Foster

7th - Foster

8th - Colome

9th - Colome

???

Can the Sox start Bauer in the Division Series, if they sign him today?

Hopefully they can squeeze 2.2 IP out of Bummer

Nah, he clearly didn't ask for anyone.

I actually think this is a really sharp move by the Sox for the kids future, and not something every team would do. They saw a velo drop and reacted before the injury maybe. Fingers crossed.

I hope so. He went from starting out at 99 today and all the way down to 96 in the Davis strikeout.

Seemed like a quick decision based off whatever he told them

It's going to have to be Rodon.

No it isn't

Bummer goes 1.2

Cease goes 2

Heuer goes 2

Marshall 1

Colome 1

Yeah. Time for the shitty RISP hitting to end. Light these fuckers up.

I think this is what happened

Sox saw velo down, come out to ask him if he felt anything and he probably said I'm fine just felt a little tightness, and they yanked him

it could be entirely possible that it was precautionary

Unless a reliever gets lit up or there's another injury, this is doable without Rodon/Cease. Bummer, Foster, and Heuer can all go multiple innings

Their best lefties had already hit. I dont want it to be the 7th inning with Lamb coming up and we have to throw Marshall or Fry

 Man...don't even mention Broadway...

You always draft pitching on projectability.  The minute you start drafting safe, you get Lance.  We used to draft Lance.  It was a bad move.  Safe = low ceiling.  I would rather draft talent who has high ceilings.  I am sure you think the same way.

Yep...something like that. If we can get some 6-7 pitch innings that would help too.

Bummer for 3rd

Foster for 4 and 5 (with Rodon ready if needed)

Heuer for 6th

Marshall 7th

Colome 8th and 9th

You have Rodon, Cease, Cordero for extras if needed
