Yermin is obviously looking great but the lineup just isn’t very intimidating on paper.

Against righties for sure.

Yuck game.

well its early... but 2 out of 3 games with bad defense and overall bad baseball give the other team the win.

So far not good... but yeah its really early.

Marshall took the loss in Game 3 last year as well...just had a feeling the magic wasn’t going to continue.

The ironic aspect is the changeup was supposed to nullify LHH but Rendon/Walsh touched him up and Heuer should have been called upon.  He’s throwing harder than anyone in our pen out of the gate.

After Walsh got on, they definitely should have gone to Heuer.

The number of guys who consistently take quality PA's is small. The Angels threw nothing but mediocre pitchers tonight and you wouldn't have had a clue just from watching the game.

Can’t wait to hear Steve Stone’s excuses for TLR when the White Sox are hovering around  .500 at the all star break.

I rather the Sox play better and win games.  Much more than having mental masturbation over proving Steve Stone wrong.

Collins and Mercedes have had the most competent at bats of anyone in the lineup.

They have to prove they can beat above 500 teams.

That’s twice in three games.  Maybe La Russa doesn’t know what splits are, but Leury sucks from the left-side

"Last year, we had 30 seconds to insert a pinch hitter, now we only have 20. Dave Duncan's son needs to do a better job of getting me the statistics, or I'm bringing in my veterinarian friend."

I can handle losing as it’s inevitable and whatnot. But these games bother me more than they should.

He’s been good for two years though

Yeah I guess so. However, there are at least 30 high school kids out there rigjt now with better stuff than Marshall.  Guy is nothing special and will be a huge liability all year.

Tell Leury he can have the week off or something. Horrible baseball player

He is going to play way too much under TLR.

Tony la russa has now lost more games when leading after the 7th than Rick renteria did all of last year. The genius tactician.

Reminds him of Jose Oquendo

Looks like it's past Tony's bedtime.

Everyone keeps telling me how soccer is very popular now in the US but not one soccer reference when the ball went off Robert's head.

Moncada doesn't actually look like he shook Covid yet, as claimed. And Robert doesn't look like he actually solved pitching yet, as claimed.

For me, game 1 in this series just had the feeling of impending late inning West Coast doom.

I felt good about this one but was surprised by the choice of Marshall there in the 8th.

Seriously, why is Marshall pitching the 8th and why is Leury getting at bats in the 9th (2 games now)?

Sounds like Hendriks was available tonight, which makes the Marshall choice even more aggravating.

It took the team awhile to get woke on Yolmer and Nicky too.

  1. Anderson SS
  2. Eaton RF
  3. Abreu 1B
  4. Grandal C
  5. Mercedes DH
  6. Garcia LF
  7. Robert CF
  8. Lamb 3B
  9. Madrigal 2B

Win a ballgame tomorrow night

Haven't liked LaRussa's bullpen management at all.  Hopefully it will get better.
