No one is getting fired from this team until the end of the year. Too late in the year

you're not allowed to hit Menechino in the air. Only on the ground the other way.

He might be the best hitting coach ever.  All I know is this team needs some type of change, as they are performing as poorly as they possibly can

It's too late for this season.

Can we fire Stone too?  What a fucking tool.

Ok Stoney couldn't it be because 2020 was his first year as hitting coach.  2 years later his "shitty especially for where they play their home games" hitting philosophy has had the time to poison this entire team.

Im positive he’s full of shit, but hopefully a blind squirrel finds nut situation.

Well if he does get canned then that guy is gonna seem credible.

Sure sounds like he's ready for some changes.

I don't think the Sox being so tight lipped to actual reporters works in their favor at all. It also allows random accounts like this who are overwhelmingly likely to be making something up for whatever reason to gain traction because most of their moves come out of nowhere.

One of the only players who give a shit

Not being able to fix all of the underperforming hitters has been reason enough to fire him even if he isn't telling everyone to swing at garbage, never take pitches, hit everything on the ground, etc.

I like how to go and bother Abreu but cant ask this same fucking question to menechino

I mean, but he's not wrong?

The fact this guy is still employed is a microcosm of what is wrong with this franchise. Never has it been more evident this team needs new ownership ASAP.

Funny - I said a major part of his statement in the game thread today. It’s almost as if it must be… true or something.

2 damned hits??  2? Two??

Fire this no talent ass clown into the sun already.  And take most of the coaching staff with you.  FFS.  What the bloody fuck are we doing here?!

I repeat that firing Menechino is way more important than getting rid of TLR.  Sox are hitting home runs and we aren't talking about TLR.

Footlong has 4 separate sources? Lol ok

Dude must have 100+ based on what he’s tweeted in the past.

Two years ago he just got here and barely had a chance to install his offensive philosophy.  More importantly, two years ago there was a juiced ball and that allowed for different approaches to be successful.  This is classic Steven Stone water carrying and the dude needs to simply STFU when it comes to his Twitter usage.  I seriously doubt there is another professional sports announcer who spends the bulk of his time ripping his team’s fanbase.

irony, thy name is self-awareness.

There is probably a 95% chance they are replacing him after the season, so why wait with so much on the line?

Not that I put much stock in the tweet, but I lol’d at “if this keeps up.”

Like it’s not quite bad enough for a change now, they need to see it once more to know for sure.

Even if they bring in a new hitting coach, do people really expect them to drastically change their approaches in the span of like 1 - 1.5 months? The time to change was two months ago, this team is what it is. This off season they all need to be working every day with their conditioning, defense, and at bat approaches instead of coming into the season looking like a clown show .

Its to protect his "image" when it doesnt happen. "The org decided to just wait until the offseason" will be the next tweet when Frank is in the dugout in KC.
