Davis Martin is a stud wow

Our offense is painfully bad. Hard to watch 

If I’m counting correctly it’s been only 8 out of 35 games the team has scored 5 or more runs so far.

3 of the 8 were in the 1st 5 games. 

2 of the 8 were in extra innings.

3 of the 8 were losses.

Martin :

*Good Fastball (and location)

*Nice tight slider he can throw for strikes. 

*Can surprise with the changeup 

That plays at this level. 

 

Solid outing. 

I'm sure Martin doesn't care about getting a win, it's a meaningless stat after all.  But it would mean a lot to his mom. Let's score some runs for the guy. 

Sox bring up some random guy to start, he goes 5 and gives up only one run, and he's going to get an L because of this lineup. And I'm not even blaming Tony for resting TA and Jose, the rest of the hitters need to step up.

Zero, too many DH/IB on this team that's why we have garbage at 2B. .  Abreu, Yas, Vaughn, Sheets, Eloy.  That's 5 players taking up 2 positions.

This is unwatchable. 

Singer has a chance to get a Maddux tonight if Matheny leaves him in long enough

1 run, against a garbage pitcher, feeling insurmountable is so bad

The only quicker half inning you will see is me while playing MLB the Show.

As they were congratulationing him he should have been saying next time I'm bringing some hitters.

I thought he looked very good. 9 whiffs on 18 sliders thrown is excellent. The fastball played nicely and he commanded it well. Hung a few change-ups and got beat on one but otherwise there were no issues. I was impressed.

This offense is going to need reinforcements.
