  • What they really need is new ownership and then everything that trickles down because of it

You run on Benintendi every chance you get.  He made a throw earlier this year that didn't even make it to the catcher.  He has a 20 arm but somehow uncorked a good throw there.  It was a good send.

His arm isn’t good but the ball was very shallow. He had the ball way before Harrison even touched third.

Our offense is painfully bad. Hard to watch

If I’m counting correctly it’s been only 8 out of 35 games the team has scored 5 or more runs so far.

3 of the 8 were in the 1st 5 games.

2 of the 8 were in extra innings.

3 of the 8 were losses.

Love listening to Benetti talk about the value teams get from optimized lineup construction or shifts when the Sox manager is Tony LaRussa

I loved it when he said, "it also depends on your manager". I think we all know what Jason was thinking.

Martin :

*Good Fastball (and location)

*Nice tight slider he can throw for strikes.

*Can surprise with the changeup

That plays at this level.

Solid outing.

I'm sure Martin doesn't care about getting a win, it's a meaningless stat after all.  But it would mean a lot to his mom. Let's score some runs for the guy.

Sox bring up some random guy to start, he goes 5 and gives up only one run, and he's going to get an L because of this lineup. And I'm not even blaming Tony for resting TA and Jose, the rest of the hitters need to step up.

I mean we don't have a starting caliber 2B on the roster.

Zero, too many DH/IB on this team that's why we have garbage at 2B. .  Abreu, Yas, Vaughn, Sheets, Eloy.  That's 5 players taking up 2 positions.

Easy 1-2-3.

80 pitches thru 6

The only quicker half inning you will see is me while playing MLB the Show.

Martin currently 0-1 with a 1.8 era for his MLB career.

As they were congratulationing him he should have been saying next time I'm bringing some hitters.

Davis Martin is a stud wow

Just got home…the numbers look great, but how did the stuff look?

Is there a pitcher in this league that we don’t make look like Cy Young?

This is unwatchable.

Two words: Leury Garcia.

They need to fire Menechino and everyone who is in charge of the hitting side of things. Its that bad

I thought he looked very good. 9 whiffs on 18 sliders thrown is excellent. The fastball played nicely and he commanded it well. Hung a few change-ups and got beat on one but otherwise there were no issues. I was impressed.

Thanks!  Great to hear the stuff matched the results!

Too bad this offense sucks a fat you know what.
