After all of these years, this is the first time that i'm actually wondering why i follow this team anymore.

  • This team legit sucks. Closer to being the worst team in the AL than the best.

The Cubs and the Sox should be merged into one team and be called the Cocks.

Who was just praising Burger...?

More Cubs than Sox fans in attendance?

Yikes. Six games back potentially and the Twins still have five in four days against Detroit.  No Robert.  No Anderson and two out including Graveman out for TOR. What could go wrong?

Lazy ass Burger

Bad hop and bad play by Burger, magnified by 10x because the offense can't do anything.

We’re now fucked. Very sloppy play. Like I said earlier, Burger needs to play more and mistakes like that will not happen again.

Cease will be a #1 starter. We better do what we did with ROBERT, Jimenez, etc. and tie him up now.

I've got Kopech > Cease, but I see your point.  Sox have tried tying up 0 of their young front of the rotation types, so chances are they lose all 3 of them.

Cub with a commanding lead.

how any group of professionals in charge of a team cant see that TLR is completely in over his head is mind blowing.

not to mention is 2 years of tanking games and over rest - has only produced countless injuries and intentional losses.

 its fucking nuts.

Cease hurt himself with the walks. Still he pitched a really good game. Will take 1 run in 7 innings every single time.

LaRussa is not very good at judging when a pitcher is losing it

In all fairness, Burger has to make that play when there is no margin for error offensively.

He got called out by Stoney for not getting in front of that grounder and trying to back hand it.  Our defense screwing us up again, and wasting Cease’s great start today.

One can easily argue over-resting players, especially with all the recent off days...is as responsible as anything for all the injuries.

Yea, like Stone said, he had time to get in front of it . but it was obvious that Dylan was losing it the hitter before.
