I know, right? That James Fox is annoying as hell.

I'm really starting to wonder if Tony's insistence on off-days is having an opposite reaction on player health given that these are all soft tissue injuries.  My wholly uninformed take is muscles, lig

I blame the banner.  Can you put La Russa on there?

Yup. James retweeted it as well for those wondering.

As I said in my previous posts: Burger 3B, Garcia SS (Switch Hitter) Moncada moves to 2B (Switch Hitter) Grandahl C/DH ( Switch Hitter)

TLR would have 3 Switch hitters in the lineup to combat teams throwing all righties against the Sox and when Grandahl is the DH, McGuire catches and tht's another lefty bat. Grandahl should DH only against righties. McGuire should sit with a lefty on the mound

Absolutely.

Yea but the way he was (or wasn't) walking looked fairly close to grade 2. Lebron somehow managed to come back in like 3 weeks from a pretty bad grade 1. Maybe TA can do it in 5.

what I really don't want to see is desperate trade made.  this division is still weak and Minnesota will fade. When the Sox are 100%, they will start steam rolling hopefully

Yes. Thise are varied from mild to moderate so they are usually 2-6 weeks.

Does a grade 2 groin stain always (or usually) get a surgery recommend fix?

They still are not moving Moncada.

No. In the "groin" muscles, surgery is rare even for a grade 3 as none of them have a long tendon like the hamstrings.

We really lucked out, but he got injured at probably the worst time imaginable due to how tough these next 9 games are.

Lets hope rehab goes well and he gets back by 4th of July (and once we get him back he is here for good and playing like he was or close to he was for the 1st 2 months of the season).

Grade 1.9?

Does anyone recall if this was the same side as his 2020 groin injury?  Just curious

They are very subjective.

Grade 1 is a mild injury with no fibers torn

Grade 2 is up to 50%  of the fibers torn

Grade 3 is 50%-100%

There is a variability.

This is one most allied health professions use. They also will estimate it using how much of a deficit there is with ROM.

Grandal hitting lead off tonight

Just disgusting. Not even blaming TLR, it’s just shocking how bad this roster is on May 31

I wonder what my thoughts would have been 15 years ago when we would be complaining about only winning the divsion?

I think the frustrating thing is the cubs and White Sox should be in the conversation annually in the Central.

Yeah, comically bad at this point.
