Twins went through a more extreme version of this last season. It doesn't mean future seasons are doomed, but obviously changes are needed for the Sox to contend again.

Yep, and Twins were smart enough to go back to the drawing board and change the philosophy of the team.

  • People need to start accepting this team just isn’t good. They’ve given us no reason all year to think it’s a playoff team.   The rebuild is in peril.

  • Reinsdorf needs to sell. He doesn’t give a shit about anything besides trying to win on his own terms.  Him and Tony just need to leave this franchise and go b**** about the status of the game elsewhe

I'm at the lowest point of my fandom as an adult. That's all. A very solipsistic view but one I'm sure is shared by quite a few people around 30-50.

Obviously the Twins aren't trading off Correa at the deadline, hopefully they lose him in the offseason.

This is hilarious. Won’t use ReyLo in the winnable game, now they’re gonna burn him out in the blow out.

Well there’s one thing this org is good at is being embarrassing

He’s been good but not nearly as good as he can be. Right now I think he stays.

Problem is they aren’t that damn good either even after all the moves they made. That’s just how badly the Sox have performed to date

Even if they lose him, they probably just go after another big name SS

You mean sign a big time free agent ? who would think you could do something like that…

That’s TLR ball.  With ReyLo in the 10 th last night we had a chance, he has not given up a homer to the last 150 batters he is faced.

Just grabbed the Twins at +110 to win the division. The Sox are D-O-N-E

Why go after big time free agents when you can sign overpaid 2nd tier relievers and utility players instead?

If the team hasn't quit before tonight they definitely will now. They will be dead and buried by the AS break.

Believe it or not the Sox were favored on the money line tonight.

ReyLo needs to be in the rotation….but it makes too much sense so he will stay in mop up roles or pitch wherever TLR draws his name from a hat

Good thing Eloy played 21 games in the minors to return when the season is over.

This game ain't over yet.  OK, well almost but don't give up yet.

Really hard to figure out this offense. Twins score six runs on four homers. The Sox get runners on it’s GIDP of a pop out. Stone said we haven’t out homered at home

52 of 53 to 32. We are missing home run power fro Eloy and Yazbut really no one has stepped except maybe Abreu

With a guy throwing from AAA they should have been favored

High stepping to 2B.  LMAO

I appreciate your double but you guys are down 5, no reason to be high stepping into 2nd.

Country music night... the hits keep on coming

Sox would have been better off if Archer had started == for either team.

Kopech stuck on 93.

Twins have a history of not doing that.
