No one said that, talk about making an assumption. LOL............................. Burger has overcome two serious injuries, career enders in some cases given what's happened to guys in the NBA

  • The post title never really makes it clear which Twins series they were writing about.

And the hits keep coming.

I know it's still early and Andersons injury was because of a collision but the Sox are going to  have to figure out how much longer after this season they want to continue to pay guys like Moncada and Eloy who  spend significant time on the IL. The hard part will be finding buyers for some of our guys.

No one left to call up.  Ramos and Rodriguez only infielders on 40 man not on active roster and neither are ready.

Of course.

They have enough infielders now

I guess you could go the OF route since you don't have a real 4th OF. But I guess there aren't any of those on the 40-man either. I'd have no problem DFA'ing one of the bottom 40-man pitchers though.

I would IL Moncada and call up Hamilton to run and play backup CF.

Let's keep the boys rested and ready to go deep in the postseason.

Just IL him.  Been there, done that trying to see him play with injury.

This latest Yoan injury has already been costly, as with him at 3 rd base yesterday, Anderson’s injury probably would not have occurred.  Playing people out of position and subpar subs has hurt the Sox so far this season.

If you do that, you're probably DFA'ing Hamilton in 10 days when Moncada returns.

The day just keeps getting better and better and better.

Only in the world of the White Sox.

Except 10 days is about all Robert has left before his IL stint.

If Robert were to miss any time, I would want Haseley, not Hamilton in CF. Nobody wants to see Hamilton taking 4 at bats in a game.

Frustrating because Grifol said when this first cropped up it was probably caused by all the very long, halfway round the world flights for Cuba in the WBC.

Convinced that Herm knew magic.

This is just nuts

No...this is the new normal for this organization.

Shocked that hoping for good health didn't work out this time.

The team is going to re sign Leury, aren’t they?

Other teams play players at multiple positions all the time without catastrophic consequences. All Sox players for a decade, signed or promoted, come up and play like idiots with zero awareness.

It does not happen in STL for example.

just a unique Hahn seasoning that we get to enjoy.
