White Sox vs. Royals 5/8 6:40 NBCSC

As I read these threads, I’m thinking to myself, does anyone actually believe that Hahn or Katz will be let go? It’s the White Sox.

Katz has to go tonight.

Absolutely

This can't keep happening. Look we suck but we have talented arms that should not be getting hit the way they are

Something is seriously wrong and broken with the pitching staff and game planning

I’ll need to see it to believe it for sure.

Probably a good time to bow out of this one. I jokingly said after the 17 runs yesterday, that we'd go scoreless today. Basically, the same result...getting destroyed after scoring 17.

Yes, one in next month, then the other after the season

Any firing that doesn't include Williams and/or Hahn (it should be both), is a scapegoat firing.

I wonder if Grifol really wanted him.  Another manager never gets to chose his staff.

Bummer with a WHIP of 2, and an ERA of 10.80

Remember when we actually thought he was going to be an integral bullpen guy? Talk about down in flames.

Stupid extension

Baseball doesn't seem to fire people mid-season like football.

Sure they do, hell the team in the World Series last year fired their manager mid season.

Amir Garrett must be a White Sox fan. ?

Garrett must be a Sox fan.

I checked the score while I was walking the dog and it was 4-4. Oh.

Cease clearly doesn't want to be traded at the deadline.

A Bears whacking after Grifol was hired doesn’t make sense, but a new GM with the same manager doesn’t make sense. But then again, it is Jerry Reinsdorf.

We’ll see.

I don’t know if he had a choice, the front office may hold him in high regard. But maybe he falls out of favor after this year.

Choking against Royals the other worst team in baseball.. just need cease to pitch well for a nice return

Katz, yes. Best available scapegoat (not that he is free of culpability).
Hahn, no.

Team needs clean house been a colossal failure

You expect better out of your ace going against one of the worst teams in baseball. Cease gave them basically no chance today and the bullpen sealed it.

Sosa is the king of the weak fly out to RF

This team hopes to win, doesn’t expect to win. They play entirely too tight and become unraveled quickly.

5.58 ERA now.

And yet the vitriol continues to go at Hahn. It’s pointless. Not going to games would be a better idea.

Why the F is gregory Santos pitching in this situation???
